Could Transformers 2 help KR season 2?

Most of us her know that KR 2008 was largely brought back because of Transformers movie in 2006. Couldn't the sequel due out this summer help to create an interest again for KR in the fall if there was a season two. NBC should play off the success of Transformers 2 and create exciting previews for a 2nd season of KR. Any thoughts?

To be honest, while Transformers was a big part of the inspiration for Knight Rider's return to TV, it was also a big part in why the new show was viewed so negatively. I don't think TF2 will factor into anything this time around.

Thats exactly what I was thinking, if anything you would imagine the producers would want to distance it from the Transformers connection as much as possible.

Well I love Transformer and KR,but I dont think it will help.
