Future project?

As some *might* know, I am in the process of turning my 95 Dodge Avenger into a KITT replica, or at least a new unique KITT.

Anyway, a local media company has shown some interest in my project and pitched an idea of doing "webisodes" of my creation, which would have the same title as I gave my car, which is "Knight Avenger". They already have someone working on a rough draft of a script should I decide to go for it when the car is done. The music of Jetblack Stare's "Ready to Roll" was chosen as the "theme".

So, my fellow Knight Riderholics, should I definitely give it a shot and see where it goes?

Oh hell yeah! That sound awesome dude! The 2 main things I'd suggest are 1) Do everything right the first time (a half-baked 'regular econo-car with a scanner' would bring lots of ridicule to you and KR) and 2) Make it your own unique design just the way YOU want it!
Sounds great man...keep us updated!

A half-baked econo-car it will NOT be  The car design is still in the planning stages so its an open plan at the moment. I do have an interest in using the original KITT voicebox, only instead of being above the steering wheel, it would be on the center console and a little higher up towards the top of the dash.

I think what will happen as far as the show is concerned is we will do a few test episodes and screen them here on this site via YouTube (We might even go as far as invitation only to keep the extreme haters out). Its better that a show gets its criticism early on before doing an official launch to make sure the viewers like what they are watching. It helps to know what is and isn't working.

For now there is a Myspace page about it, which you can go to via my signature.

I just got another idea offered to me recently. A friend pointed out my interest in storm chasing and thought it would be neat to put the technology to use by using the car as a storm chasing vehicle, a "Tornado Interceptor". I thought it was crazy at first, but the more I thought about it, the more I liked it.

I dont want the gadgets in the car to be just for show, I want them to actually do something/be interactive. A GPS, A screen to display camera views and weather data, Blue Tooth enabled calling, etc.

Just one more idea on the table I suppose!
