I voted for Bonnie...we all love her, but April doesn't bother me. I just sorta disregard her anyway. I think they wrote those April scripts to purposefully avoid pulling her into the larger and more crucial timelines. No episode that I know of really makes the viewer want to know more about April's past, nor her future, regarding FLAG.

I think that both Bonnie and April were adequate technicians and were both good at keeping KITT in top condition. Bonnie wins over April however in her inventiveness of new tools for KITT and for her loving admonishments of Michael for abusing KITT at times. She seemed far more parental and watchful over MK and KITT than April ever was.
What bothers me about April is that she seems to be a bad sport when it comes to her experiments on KITT. We've seen her fly off the handle in "Return to Cadiz" among other episodes when a case took priority over her experiments. Bonnie was never that way and it makes her the far better technician for KITT and far better friend for both KITT and MK

April didn't seem 'natural' as Kitt's technician, unlike Bonnie. And I don't know whether or not it was the relationship between the actors showing through on set, but she was never really accepted as part of the 'team', either. Even the jokes seemed forced. But given time, who knows? I liked her feisty speech to Garthe!

I like April, but I had to go with Bonnie. I grew up with Bonnie. I didn't know April existed until fall of 1991 when KR was on rereuns in my area. I had been watching KR for 9 years with Bonnie.

I vote for Bonnie! First of all, she way hotter than April ever was, and second Patricia was a better actress in the fact that she could pull off the "mother-type-role" better.
In fact I love(d) Bonnie so much that I had a crush on my sixth grade social studies teacher because she looked like Bonnie! I know, I'm REAL pathetic.
