The idea is to have a bunch of tweets w/ this tag rise up on the list of popular topics. This could greatly raise awareness of the show and maybe even help w/ the ratings.

Better yet, it creates a "chat channel" for all things Knight Rider. I love to chat here, but chatting on Twitter is visible to the entire world (in contrast, KRO is very low-profile and secluded). We need to show ourselves...

I signed up and used the #Knight tag in a post right after I did. Although I'm kinda confused on how the website works.

It's pretty easy. Start choosing people to follow. You can use http://search.twitter.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; to find posts/people.

Try searching for "Knight Rider"

As you start "following" people, they follow you back. They become your followers. Everything you tweet about is seen by them.

Twitter Search is a great way to know what's popular. A similar tool is Twitscoop (http://www.twitscoop.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;).

Why #knight and not #knightrider ?
