I thought it was like a thurster? Like the jet out of the back of the Batmobile.

If it was in the front, I would have thought is as a beam weapon like the one in Iron Man's chest, but since it is in the back I think it is a power pack of some sort. Maybe KI3T needs to destroy it to power KARR down.

It's probably his weak point, like those giant enemy craps in ancient Japan. Though theirs was on their underside if I remember correctly and you could hit it for MASSIVE DAMAGE!
