In The TV summary

This is what I have planned out so far for my story, In The TV.
Tanya is watching a KR rerun episode about a scientist who claims to have a teleportation/time-traveling device. When he is forced to prove it, he turns the machine on and Tanya's tv becomes a portal. Curious, she goes through and the machine is destroyed. Michael gets out of the way and is the only one who lived out of all the scientists who came to see it. Tanya, Michael, and KITT get the schematics and try to put it back together, figuring out some pieces are too heavily damaged to be used. They must retrieve the parts and get the machine running again so Tanya can go home.

I like the concept, but I'm not sure I like admitting that KR isn't real. What if it turns out that KR is real and that Michael and KITT figured out that they could use a TV show to reach in the future to broadcast their time machine signal - because they needed her for some reason in the 1980s. Kind of along the lines of Galaxy Quest.

Hmm interesting but this uis more of an InkHeart plot than a time travel one, is either that the machine makes fiction become reality or that she travels to an alternate universe you have to decide which...

I guess I will rewrite it after I pick the best suggestion. Scrap the idea, I guess.

There is no reason to scrap the idea, all we are doing is making suggestions here, it could still work as either a machine that somehow makes fictional things become true which is what the idea mostly originally looked like or that she is sent to an alternate reality where KITT is real and not fiction.

Why do you feel lost I don't understand? All you need to do is settle on either making the story about a machine that somehow turns fictional stories into reality even if for a while or that the machine in question sent your character into an alternate reality where KITT is real and not fiction! I simply do not understand what is so difficult to comprehend about this concepts...

There are more suggestions than just yours, ya know. I have to decide whose suggestion I'm gonna take, or if I should just stick with what I have and change some details to make it more realistic.

I will not be writing this story. Instead I will be writing something similar, called Scientist's Daughter. It will be a series about a girl in a secret organization. The first one will be about her messing around with gadgets and going to an Alternate Universe.

I changed it yet again. This time it will be about a scientist's daughter who is "in training" at age 13. I am waiting for permission from Lynda414, as there will be some references to her series.
