My KITT was in the annual Hollywood Christmas Parade on Sunday Nov 30, 10,000 people attended. watching them waving and yelling "KNIGHT RIDER"

right after the end of the parade route, went to the parking lot where everbody was dropping off the passengers. parked it and turned of my engine. Kitt would start up again. My alternator went out. i guess having all the lights, fog, scanner, kitt interior lights and stereo blasting was too much for the alternator. well now i am having my alternator rebuild with more amps currently at 140 amps raise it up to 160. and goint to run 2 optima yellowtop batteries instead of one. plus i was moving a 5 mph during the parade. luckily it broke down after the parade not during the parade.

Very nice! That's cool your car was in their! BTW was that the RoboCop car in their?

yes robocop car was there, if you check out the pic with the batmobile you can see part of the robocop car. it has movie prop sticker on back door. it also had the full figure robocop in the passenger seat. ill try upload a video of it later tonight.

herbie was there wow i wish we had a parade like that up here in boston

that must been heinous when your kitt broke down after the parde. but God was on your side and you broke down in a parking lot. it could of been worse
I would recomend a 200 amp performance alternator from mean green or powermaster and a duel battery setup like you were doing good luck on what ever you decide to do
