Both were loners, both were very savy in there own right and both worked for a secret agency.
I think it would have been a neat thing to see.

Only if KITT was severely damaged and had to be fixed with whatever everyone's got in their pockets.

I don't think MBS could be replaced by a cereal box, bubble gum, and baling wire, but ya never know.

I already imagine the episode title: Knight of the Phoenix Foundation
Maybe Murdock and Garthe Knight would team up and that's why Michael Knight, KITT and MacGyver need to work together to beat the villains

That wold be awesome. Macgyver could help rig traps for the bad guys while kitt could help macgyver out sometimes

Yeah michael and mac inside work, kitt handles stuff on the outside.

As it turns out both Patricia McPherson & Edward Mulhare were guest stars on Macgyver.
That reminds me of that sketch on Saturday Night Live titled Mcgruber in which (Mcgruber is trying to disable a bomb & each time he fails miserably in the attempt, all the while those he is trying to save are giving him a rashion.
I would have let them get blown up (lol)
