What ever happened to Taoworm and his Knight 3000 project? Haven't seen him post much or add any videos to youtube in a while. Anyone know if the KITT orb is still going to be available?

I just got my under the dash lights from Auto Indulgence (the people who made KITT) and they told me how to install them. He also told me that they are working on a ORB to be sold but at this time they were working on the voice. I will post some pictures of the dash lights soon. Also the front bumper goes in the shop this week and next weekend the front end will be done. I CAN'T WAIT...................

I emailed them too about the dash lights a while ago , but they have so many different light strips and leds I didn't know which to go with. I'd be very interested to know which one you got and to see some pics.
Last week on ebay , I won the front bumper from the Attack KITT used on the show. The Attack isn't my favorite version of KITT , but its still nice to have a part of an actual film car.

I asked for the lights that they used on KITT and they sent me the Luma/Flex 1ft plasmaglow. Then they told me that I would have to cut the underdash and get a light defusser from Home Depot. I plan on starting the project on my next day off. Thats cool about the front end.....any pictures and what did it cost?

The total cost with shipping was about $381. There is some damage to the bumper from a stunt they filmed. If I decide to,I know a few Knight Rider replica fiberglass guys who could fix it up. You can check it out on ebay and see the pics. Item # 260432522176. Its not mentioned in the listing but the seller promised to send the grill with the bumper.

I got the front end back today and it is awsome!!!!!! I'm going to install it this weekend. I will have pictures up on Sunday, going to the Nascar race Saturday.

Yes my Knight 3000 Voice Orb will still be available at Auto Indulgence autoi.com coming very soon. I will let everyone know in this thread when the purchase date is.

It look really nice but will the finish of the metal plate be cnc machined for a factory look and in ths same material (aluminium?) like in the show

Aluminum was not used in the show. Nor was it CNC machined.
It just looked that way.

okay so why don't make it better than in the show ? ^^

I know I tried it. The laser cutter leaves black lines along the edges as well as imperfections. The props dept ran into the same problem when they refitted KI3T for the series. In the end they used a setup exactly like mine.

My newest edition will be here in 2 weeks!:

Texas only allows 6 characters in their plates, otherwise it would be the full 77KR117 that KI3T has.

I tryed to get it here in ILL and it will not go threw, so I have one picked out that will go good for the car. I need to get my GOTHAM 3 plates off the car.

My Shadow KARR Mustang will be complete tomorrow morning (hopefully). If anyone hasn't seen my vids on Youtube, type in the following:

Mustang KARR Mod (for Voice box and inside dash)

and

Shadow KARR Scanner (2x ICE LED Scanners on my Silver Mustang)

They'll be on the car tomorrow. I've got my plates to put on in about a week, and one more surprise coming around the same time.

Where did you get them made at. I want to do something different to the rear gas cap.
