you mean after he was severlely damaged or totally destroyed?

in Goliath he was hit by said truck and was banged up pretty bad and was repaired.

In Knight of the Drones he was blown up

and repaired this was when he got the the all new dash with LCDs over LEDs and the single tv screen.

In Junkyard Dog he was dropped in toxic waste and was completely destroyed and was built up from scratch on the inside. as well as repainted and cleaned up.

In Knight of the Juggernaut he was battered up very badly and was repaired and this was when he got the SPM, EBS, and the

He was also added to the Knight 4000.

By the time of TKR, his CPU looked like it was housed in an electronic "egg"...although an egg isn't a car. Really.

In Lost Knight KITT loses his memory after an explosion but in the end Micheal was able to repair him with a new memory chip

Also in Killer KITT he was reprogrammed by a villian I loved the end of that episode when KITT was let loose on the bad guty and smacked him over the head with his doors that was funny

While on the subject of reprogramming, don't forget Charriots of Gold where the professor had drugged Bonnie and made her reprogram KITT, then he ordered KITT to kill Michael. Of course, KITT's primary programming took over and he can't kill Michael.

That's because he was programmed never to kill anyone that was why when there was a life threatening situation Micheal used the manual override command because that is the only way that programming can be overridden
