In Knight of the Pheonix, Michael is shot in the shoulder by the security guard in Tanya Walker's office. As he's leaving the office, and outside with the dumb security guard, we see clearly that Michael is holding his left shoulder which is bleeding from the gunshot wound.

Then, when Michael is in KITT heading to the airport, and talking with Devon, he's holding his right shoulder.

So which one was he shot in?

That's been noticed many, many times already. There's also many other continuity errors in that episode, but I won't bother getting into them because they've been discussed many times.

Would suggest you pick up season 1 on dvd. The commentary explains it well. Suffice to say, the continuity error arised from footage from the 30min promo (to sell/convince the show to Universals execs) being used along with newly shot footage.

You can just say that Michael was switching arms to still restrict the blood loss in the arm that he was shot in. If you bend the arm that you were shot in and hold the other shoulder, it would most likely help stop bleeding although it would hurt like hell.
