Hey all...I recently-as of last wk (4/27/07) saw at least 3 ads with scene shots that were done /derived from KR...for Ford....and one of them has the lovely Jill Wagner in it & doing the voice over sales pitch...
Adding to that is the ad for Suzuki -both bike/suv...shot on the famous
KR show opener lake bed...Yeh I know but still. . .it does show a wee bit of KR influence on the auto industry...
Oh,my voter for a new Knight Industries Two Thousand? (cue drumroll )
the Pontiac Rageous- a concept car already built. . . it comes close in its lines-shape lineage.

The Rageous was made back in 1997, about 10 years ago. If something hasn't been made for public use in that time, it's usually a good bet it won't be, or even considered.
As for the topic, I guess it's about the KR influence on new car ads. One should try the minicooper ads at:
http://www.hammerandcoop.com/
Which is linked from
http://www.miniusa.com/
OBVIOUS KR influence! LOL!

TO ANY ONE WHO HAS WATCHED AN ENTIRE EPISODE-FROM START TO END...THEY'D RECOGNIZE THE DESERT SHOTS USED IN CAR ADS TODAY...A DEF. KR INFLUENCE...that's m'point.
oh yeh...this tidbit is old...a sight on msn has a old update on the KR movie the car "chosen" is a Koenigsegg-ccx.......to which I say.....
"WHHHHHHHH AAAAA TTTTTTTTT...?''
anyone got a pic of this car?

Hah, that Hammer & Coop mini-series was wonderful. I love all the bad KR jokes in there.
Do you think Mini would get mad if I request a Coop AI installed? Heck with everything else advertised, surely they can do that!

They might pull a Pontiac and insist that they no longer mention the car as a "mini-cooper" in their own ads!
