I believe this scene was first seen in Just My Bill when Michael, Devon and Maggie's assistant were driving to the restaurant.
Cool screenshots, I've seen some Camaro's too in the background and in Custom Made Killer they even wrecked one by driving it in front of a train.
It would be great to have some of those background cars in 1:18 scale with 1:18 KITT and build diorama's of Knight Rider scenes :D

your right about the sportyness of the 6000.
i like the trademark "fuzziedice" its a great car. my favourite pic has to be the back of the car because of the lights they all look so smooth. Great Car Fuzziedice

Thanks! :) And I'm sure Dryden thanks you too. ;)

I always thought that fuzzy dice in a car means someone really loves their car (I didn't know any other reasons really). So, I thought because of how sporty the 6000 is and it's a Pontiac, that it HAS to have fuzzy dice! :) When I got into the car forums and got into Knight Rider again, I decided to make a Yahoo account and FuzzyDice was taken, as was FuzzieDice. so I went with putting a 6000 after it. Ended up that "Fuzzie Dice" stuck as my online alias ever since!

I don't know how I came about the name "Dryden" for my car. It was more or less off the top of my head.

Glad you liked the back of the car as well. The trunk lip spoiler wasn't on there from factory. I bought it from a car club member and a neighbor helped me install it. I think it just adds to the sportiness. Sorta like the '84 Monte Carlo SS's and stuff. :)

I'm biased but I can't say enough that I think my 6000 is the most awesome car I've ever driven or rode in. :)

I think the Fuzzy Dice is an item that only really fit in with certain cars. I think it fits nicely in the 6000. Some cars just look weird with them in but that one looks great.

The trunk lip spoiler is what I really like about it. It adds to the smoothness of the car.

Pontiac sort of kept there "lined" brake and indicator lights going kind of like how corvette have the circle ones. You really know Dryden well Fuzziedice all those engine details and all.

Well, I guess you can say he taught me. :) Sorta. I enjoyed working on the car and it is worth it. If you like Dryden's dash, you should try googling for a 6000 digital dash! Even back when Knight Rider was first airing the Pontiac STE's had the digital dashboards with LEDs, etc. It reminded me of KITT! I could probalby put a digital gauge system in Dryden but I hear it's very difficult as you have to kinda redo the wiring to fit.

I had seen a couple other 6000s with Fuzzy Dice in them. I agree, the car kinda lends itself to having dice, just like the old 1957 Chevy's! :)

One other thing I like about the '87 6000s (and '86s too) is that the front nose/grille is sorta reminiscent of the '77 Pontiac Trans Ams! Dryden's front nose area is a bit dart shaped as well, but vaguely.

The 6000s sure have style! :)

Ok, I better stop talking about them as this is supposed to be about 2 KITT's in Knight Strike and not Dryden's good looks. ;)

We need a thread for Dryden lol.

I suppose people have noticed the 81 Trans Am in Trust Doesn't Rust.

 Yeah. Kinda. :)

I think I remember a couple 80s 2nd Gen T/As in KR. I think they used a lot of camaros though. And don't forget the bugs! ;)

Is that the white bug with the purple stripe that was reused in about every road shot in a season 2 ep? You can also see the reused footage in Knight in Disgrace.

I remember that one. :)

As for the Rooster (19th hole) I actually saw an Iroc that looked almost like the Rooster's Camaro earlier this year when I was up at AutoZone. I was putting in an EGR valve and I nearly dropped my wrench when I saw it. It was really cool! I wonder if the guy who owns the car knows about Knight Rider and how close to the Rooster that car looked! :)

I have seen a nice White Camaro like the rooster one for sale near my house its a really good looking one. It reminds me of a cross between the BTTF delorean and KITT. The Camaro and the Trans Am are really close together. On MCK's you can use the 2 TV dash in a Camaro.

The Camaro and the Firebirds are both GM F-Body cars, which is why the similarities. One by Chevy and one by Pontiac.

While I like Camaros, I think the Trans Ams are a lot cooler looking. :) But that's just .02 cents worth. :)

I knew a former neighbor that had a Camaro done up in just primer. He and I were the only ones with cars in black primer in the neighborhood. It was cool.

yeah the Trans Am has a lot more sporty looking body. I liked the rooster though that was pretty cool.

there is a pontiac 6000 on the dukes of hazzard quite a bit, its light blue if i recall right

there was a 79~ TA on hardcastle and mccormick's pilot episode as well as an 82 or 83 recaro in "hot shoes" and an 83 recaro is driven by hannibal on the A team

there was a white 82-83 base model (vinyl interior and probably an iron puke 4 banger) in the ep "killer kitt"

ive seen a few in movies too, in cannonball run 2 the cop cars were 1982 trans ams :)

Iron PUKE?!! Hey, don't call them that! The Iron DUKES are GREAT engines! Dryden has one and I must say it's the best engine I've ever seen in a car that is only designed for personal use! I don't need 400+ hp just to get the groceries!

Those engines are long-lasting, and very reliable. And they sound so cool. :) I mean, if you have a really good, well-cared for duker, they are really fantastic.

You can't tell me otherwise. I'm a duker fan! :)

oh btw, i made a few mistakes in my post

1. hannibal only drove the TA in one episode

and the iron "puke" :) camaro was in Custom made killer, not killer kitt

I didn't know they made Camaros with Dukers? I didn't think so. I know they did make base model firebirds (without the spoilers) with the 4-cyl. engines. Those are VERY rare to find!

i bet the iron puke is more common in the camaro than the firebird..

i can only assume that camaro was a 4 banger because i would think they used the cheapest one possible since they destroyed it.
