Can't argue with that fact. Perhaps you can ask some of the members here who live in the UK to order one for you. They can send the package to you when they receive it and you can pay to them directly.

Hey KR fans. For those of you so concerned about not having American charge cards, you can always send a postal money order or Western Union money order and I will gladly accept them. I also will take a personal check, but you will have to wait two weeks for it to clear. Cashiers or Bank checks are also acceptable. (You get personally autographed copies at my site.) Just go to http://www.stuwho.com. You will notice when you scroll down on my store page that you will see information about ordering by money order.

Music stores will be serviced eventually, but you must understand that they don't stock everything that is available and we can't force them to carry it.

Happy to hear that those of you who have heard the remix of the theme think it "rocks."

To Skav,

Exactly what past KR CDs have you seen for 100 lbs? The only CDs of KR that I'm aware of are the two Don Peake. One from about five years ago which was not legit and the latest one from 2004, which you can currently purchase for $19.00. I would love to know about any others.

RerunKR--the one from about 5 years ago that you claim wasn't legit was, I believe, the Volume 1 CD of KR with Don Peake's scores from 4 episodes and was produced by Hi-Tech records. I don't know the intricacies of the situation with the Hi-Tech CD being "legit" but I don't see how it couldn't have been since it had completely restored scores from 4 episodes and all the scores were in full. The company did disappear abruptly after the owner conducted some bad business practices (from what I understand) and that PO'd a lot in the KR community so is that what you meant? Aside from that, I own a copy of that CD and I believe that, at the time it wa produced, it was a legit venture with Don Peake.

The other CD that was produced (and is official) is the rare promo disc that came out way back in 1984 or 1985 and had the complete score to "Diamond's Aren't A Girl's Best Friend," along with the "Chase" theme, synthesized "Main Title" theme and the "Search" theme which was the music that Adrienne used on Michael to hypnotize him in "Soul Survivor." It can sometimes be found on eBay and I do have a copy of that CD as well. Unfortunately, when I bought my copy on eBay several years back, the jerk that sold it to me sent me a CD-R of the CD instead of the promised "genuine" CD and the inserts were just color copies of the originals. Needless to say, the quality of my CD is probably not quite the same as the original but it's good enough for me to listen to. Still, it does exist out there and if you can find it, I recommend it highly!

Hope that answers some questions!

KFCreator.... I don't think that you correctly understand the meaning of a "legit" CD. A legit CD is one that has licensed all of the material contained from the proper copyright owners. I can tell you, without reservation, that the Hi-Tech KR release was not "legit." As for the 1985 release you mentioned, this is something that I wasn't aware of. Since the "jerk" didn't send you the the genuine CD, how do you know that this was not a bootleged job?

Thanks for clearing up that mess about the Hi-Tech KR soundtrack. Like I said, I don't know whether it was "legit" in the proper sense or not, but all I know is that I'm perfectly happy with the digitall remastered tracks to the 4 episodes included on that CD and I just assumed that it was legit because it supposedly used the source material from Universal.

As for the older KR soundtrack I have, I know that the music on it came from a legit promo CD because it's known that there was in fact a promo CD distributed around 1984/1985 and it had those exact same tracks on it. I don't know where there's a website that would detail the promo CD and its contents in more detail but maybe another member on this board who has a copy of that CD can help provide some background information on it.

I would invite any member who has detailed info about this 1984/85 Promo CD that KFCreator has mentioned, to please let me know more about it, and where I might possibly get a copy.

While most fans are waiting for a compilation of the Stu Phillips themes, I would prefer they make one compilation of the best of the pop/rock tunes by famous artistes from the show. These shows from the 80's often contain some rather interesting, often mysterious ("Mama" by Genesis from Magnum PI for instance) tunes from that time, which deserve a CD of their own.

K.I.T.T, I am in Essex. Master Cards and VISA are credit cards and I only have a Switch debit card. Unfortunately, any US site don't take those.

Newcastle Knight, I may try my luck there but seeing as this is a limited edition run, I guess it's an exclusive that wouldn't be available in just any commercialised store like HMV. But who knows?

Rerun KR, I saw some soundtracks, volume 1 and 2 that were released as while back on there...one of em contained the soundtracks from KITT vs KARR, Halloween Knight and another one.

They both went in excess of £100.

I saw one recently, volume 2 I think it was, and it was a bootleg copy, with a carbon copy of the original CD cover and everything and the starting bid was £85.

Crazy!

None of the demo/sneak preview clips work, on both the FSM site or screenclips or screenarchives.com.

Anyone got any demo clips by any chance?

Hi, I know the CD that KFCreator is talking about. In either 1999 or 2000 I made a donation to knightregistries.com. And in return they sent me a copy of that 1984/85 CD. It had the whole Don Peake score of "Diamonds Aren't A Girl's Best Friend",The synthesiser music from "Soul Survivor" a track from "Knight of the Juggernaut" and the Stu Phillips track in the episode "Good Day at White Rock" when Michael and KITT drive into town the first time (right after Michael explains to KITT what a vacation is). Also there were two different versions of the Knight Rider theme. One was the original and the other was like an updated version. If I still have the CD I'll see if I can still find it.

It wasn't the whole score. It was missing a few small parts.

And it was out of order. And it also has a good sized action cue that wasn't in "Diamonds Aren't A Girl's Best Friend".

Recevied my autographed copy of Stu's CD - the best TV soundtrack ever! The quality is unbelievably perfect and beautiful - the main theme hasn't sounded so better ever! The booklet is also a great read. This blow's Don Peake's CD clean out of the water - on that CD, you could actually hear the original dialouge, but with Stu's, it's just purely the original masters, with NO dialouge or sound-effects.

Two thumbs up, Stu!!
