IIRC, the very first 3rd generation Firebird that rolled out of the production line was donated to Universal Studios in support of the KR show. If this is the case, then it would be indeed in 1982 that the car debuted in the US. In 1981 the car was probably conceived already on the drawing boards but not yet put into sheet metal yet.Paul wrote:Plus, correct me if I'm wrong, but there's no such thing as a KITT-style '81 Trans Am, right?
Wasn't the Trans Am that KITT was designed into brand new for 1982? The Trans Am that would have been around in '81 would have still been a Smokey-and-the-Bandit type, right?
If so, chalk another point up in the "moron" column for our buddy Tom.
That sucks man. I've had my share of that kind of experience (every guy probably has) and its not an experience I would likely forget. But mine happened as an accident while playing basketball (got hit with the ball itself when it bounced off of my foot). In your case, it was intentional and I would have beaten the crap out of your "friend" for doing such a deed.TurbomanKnight wrote:Getting hit in the Jewels hurt.Aw, man my friend through a rock at me and it caught me in the tip of the jewels. I thought I was going to die.
