Yeah, I forgot Michael Knight didn't smoke. As for KITT smoking, I am sure he's done his share of 'burning rubber'.

In fact, in the Pilot towards the end he had steam coming from his hood before he went to take Michael to the hospital.

That would be called "Blowing off Some Steam."

If KITT had a Cigarette lighter installed, He wouldn't have the traditional Push/Pop Out Lighter. He would have a Special Bay to put the Cigarette or whatever else anyone is smoking then you would have to press a button to operate it. Hehe

I think KITT would would be Anti-Smoking actually, so he wouldn't let anyone use his lighter to light anything. Not to mention if anyone smoked inside him, he would throw them out cause he would not want to smell bad inside. KARR on the other hand....
