they were either going to stick him in the 1957 chevy or they originaly planned on putting KITT in a 1990 volvo!

I like the new design KinghtDriver, Though I think Six lights in the nose is a bit much, Why not just four or even two large lights....I know The original KIT had six lights in the nose, But it just seems too much for this design?, The front is too "Busy" looking, For me

The dash has still got the'Push Button Miracle' look about it, But without the 80's clunkiness.

Otherwise it's a great modernised KITT

I'm impressed

Personally, I like Knightdriver's 3000. I'm not found of the roundedness of it though. I think things are getting too bubble-like. :) But if the 3000 has to look like that, it would be a nice KITT.

Or, try a Lambourghini Countach? Perhaps?

Although the Countach still looks futuristic today, its design dates back to the early 70's. I think a better choice would be a Murcielago, also made by Lamborghini. :D

I love that center console, Brian. Matches the rest of the stock interior perfectly.

I think the main issue of a lot of the proposed 4th gen KITTs is that the interior too closely match the original which was designed with the squared off lines and edges of the 82-84 model in mind. Knightdriver's interior perfectly compliments the lines of the new car while keeping a KR look.

I was thinking about this the other day and wonder how a new KITT would look with those "Okudagram" style "buttons" that were used on TNG. Not really physical buttons, just touch sensitive screens displaying buttons for the various features. Would make it easy for Bonnie to add and remove features from the pods.

You know, I serious thought about the touch pads, but I thought I
would have been critisized to death for making KITT look to much
like an Enterprise control panel. The car we are actually building will
differ from these pictures as it is hard to photoshop my idea's. Next
spring, you will get to see the real product, not photoshop magic. 8)

I think I like the Countach's nose a little better. It's a smaller and closer I think to the original KITT. But with car builders that make cars for shows and movies, they could probably fix that. :) So it's possible to use this model car as well, I would guess.

Touchpads are a cool idea! And upgrade-wise economical. Furthermore, with the technology supposedly advancing, you won't need any buttons, most of the time. It's all voice-activated or the AI himself (KITT) would just know what to do in a given situation by now. :)
