Actually, that picture is part of a series. It's a concept car that can "open up."

I reckon a big budget KR movie would be a cash cow for the studio to make it. It can't be far off esp. seeing that the hulk has been done and the was not NEARLY as good a series as KR.
I'd make it really edgy and dark too, all 18+ material. MK would be judge, jury and executioner and entertain us with really corny lines after dispatching whole teams of human and non-human trash.
And Kitt, wouldn't change a thing, to do so would be to ruin the movie before starting.
How could David H. fit into the scheme of things?, I still think he could be MK, no probs. If Arnie can still be the terminator in t3 and look that good - why not, no one could do the role justice as the man himself.
The other Americana series which would make good movies nowadays would be another David H. classic, BJ McKay and his best friend bear, and ... darnit, distracted and forget, oh well maybe later... bye--eee

You should probably check the News section of the site. A big screen version of KR has been in the works for two years or more now...
And I hate to say it, but making Michael Knight judge, jury, and executioner would ruin it right off the bat. Of course, why bother with going anywhere near the original, as long as we can all have a body count that goes into triple digits, right?
It probably isn't going to be all that much of a cash cow. While we here all love KR, the reality of the situation is, the fandom isn't as big as even that for the Hulk.
And, uh, excuse me if I didn't understand you correctly, but David Hasselhoff wasn't in BJ and the Bear. That was Greg Evigan.

That was Greg Evigan... unless you thought Hasselhoff played the chimp? He was hairy in the 80s, but not THAT hairy.

Well markscustomkits.com offers a turn key for $40,000 us. £24889.56, which doesn't include shipping, but its not as bad as you think.
PS: good to see you made it to the board!

So there you go, Greg Evigan was the star of BJ and the Bear, seeing as I was going from memory from 20 years ago he did look somewhat like DH. I will sleep better at knight knowing this....
For the fella who says check the News section of the BB re: KR movie, I did, and also looked around the web and there IS NO NEW NEWS REGARDING THE MOVIE. The movie IS NOT IN PRODUCTION, it was all talk and never got off the ground. So my comments of it being the right time to get it off the ground are my opinion and just as valid as yours - same goes with how the plot line too - my opinion, u dont need to shoot it down in flames. Just because you've read every post and have posted to this BB 2 million times doesnt make you the KR love child and know-it-all you purport to be. You can get too wrapped up in these things, you know? It's ppl like you who take all the fun out of these BB's with your reactionary and overzealous replies.
Signing off, leave u all too it.

Dude, I think you need to get a grip. She was giving you direction and letting you know what was going on before you said something that has been said or done before.
She in no way attacked your opinions, only tried to make a discussion of the things you brought up. If you can't handle people disagreeing with you, maybe you should hole yourself up, because it's going to keep happening. Not everybody is going to be gung ho about what you think.

Oh, so I take the fun out of my knowledgable, and non-opinionated replies.
So, according to you, I need to blow smoke out of my a**?
Oh, and by the way, new person, before you start throwing temper tantrums, being sarcastic, and suddenly ruling that your word is absolute gospel, and nobody can correct you, for starters, I am female, not a fella.
For another, rather interestingly, as of July, Hasselhoff still was talking about the movie still being underway. Something you would have noticed if you had checked out the news, rather than proclaiming your presence and your immesurable, indisputable opinion on the subject.
I don't need my posting numbers to prove my intelligence and knowledge, other to show that I have been here for a long enough time for people who aren't displaying their complete and total ignorance that I don't blow smoke.
So, people telling the truth and telling their knowledge makes boards unfun? Maybe you should go back to your world where being rude and arrogant towards the world is acceptable. Where you basically are right all the time, and nobody disputes you with fact.

You know, I think for a newbie on the board with only 2 messages, you are being awfully rude to one of our longer members. Your opinion is just that, your opinion, and frankly, it was not shot down in flames. When you put your opinion out there for others, be ready for someone to disagree or present their own opinion.
And if "signing off" means you're leaving this board, don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Here's an idea: instead of yelling at newbies when they don't react the way we want them to, how about SETTING AN EXAMPLE FOR THEM by calmly expressing our views? We should be trying to diffuse potentially tense situations, not heat them up. That's how we create a friendly environment for everyone, newbies and elders alike.

I don't think there is any problem with Newbies getting their free run around here, Michael. And I will pay the same respect to them, that they pay to others, and in particular, me, if you don't like it, don't look.
Oh yes, let's nurture them, while they are busy throwing temper tantrums, and being extremely rude. Oh wait, if it happened to you, then you would have a problem with it, but since it happens to me, dun-dun-dun....super Mike.
You want harmony amongst newbies and elders alike, then I am guessing that a little less selective and biast moderation needs to start happening amongst not only the actual moderator, but the rest of the board as well. While they are free to attack, I, and others should be able to be free to defend, that is how less moderation works whether intentional or not.
So how about we ask for a little bit more consideration and respect from the newbies, and we will get a little bit more cooperation and respect from the elders? Or is that too organized a thought?
And one other item. Nobody actually yelled, except for you, and the new guy who would probably be more upset by us setting an example, since obviously they had a problem with information being given to them. Is it wrong information? I still rely off of your site, Mike, so I guess that is pretty much up to you.

Here's an idea: instead of yelling at newbies
Who yelled?
New boy had a hissy fit when he got corrected. And that fact was being pointed out to him.
Even you Micheal, replyed saying the acter was Greg Evigan
That was Greg Evigan... unless you thought Hasselhoff played the chimp?
To which came back the hissy fit reply.
After all people where only putting in there comments in reply to "new boys" thoughts... there was really no need for the *?$# reply he gave back.
So there you go, Greg Evigan was the star of BJ and the Bear, seeing as I was going from memory from 20 years ago he did look somewhat like DH. I will sleep better at knight knowing this....

I agree that crazyivan over-reacted. Absolutely. But I think we over-reacted to the over-reaction.

And no reaction breeds larger problems. Nobody overreacted to anything....well, except maybe you in overreacting to what you thought was our overreaction.

By the time we sort this out, we will have forgotten what the original reaction was
Man all this over-reacting has given me a headache.

I don't think Knightmmortal said anything that would result in this over-reaction.
As far as I am concerned, there is only one person who overreacts to everything around here, and his quote remains above mine will be your only hint...
If there is one thing I have learned is that for all the times I haven't got a fair shake, Knightimmortal keeps on getting less of one because she expresses her opinion. If someone has 2 posts then they better not be starting to attack other board members.
Opinions are free. If you can't take the heat get out of the kitchen. Agree to Disagree and quietly end this thread. This is the reason I don't post as much, all these wasted threads that start out good but go nowhere fast.
How about this for KITT?

How about this car for KITT? Look at the first link for the photo. And before looking at the second link, take a good guess what kind of car it is.

I keep telling how cool these cars are. Not bad for even a prototype, in my honest opinion.
