I think that ep is either Knightlines or Knight and Knerd.
But I think it's probably Knightlines.

I was 11 and the episode was not a drop to drink. It was in 1986 and the series started in France this year. I was litterattly fascinated by the concept.

I was born in 1984, but I didn't discover this life-changing show until sometime in 1991-1992. It was shown in Cincinnati on Saturdays at 1pm and 2pm (2 differents eps; i loved it!). I only know this for sure because I found my old daily journal from 2nd grade about a month back and I wrote a few pages about Knight Rider on it.
I knew this show would warp me for the rest of my life (in a positive way, of course)

in 1984, when I saw the previews of the upcoming new hit series, Miami Vice I got hooked on Don Johnson, and of course, I would not miss an Ep., then, as Knight Rider was right before Miami Vice at the time at 9:00 EST, I started watching it too and it was a "dual hookin'",,,David Hasselhoff and Don Johnson, first I liked the show because of the ultra handsome David, then I realized that the show actually DID have incredible substance and I was forever hooked to it,

I wished I shot JR. just to get that show off the air.I was 12 & I was hooked from the preview ads.i had even sent away for the free poster with the comparison between the Dukes car v.s. K.I.T.T.
I wish i could get that back. I don't know what happened to it but i still have the K.I.T.T. KIT. I got a little smarter & sent away for two.
