I had that idea too, I'm working on it right now but its proving a little tricky getting the black looking real good. If I can get a really nice solid black and the Kitt overhaul looks good I'll share the wallpaper.Knight_Rider_1980 wrote:Can somebody do that Silver KR in photoshop and make it black n stuff and make it look like KITT.

Messing with gradient overlays and thought this looked fun so I figured I'd show you guys, excuse the crudity of the image its a bit messy at the moment. The final image should be a nice deep black with scanner etc...![]()

Well seeing as you liked it I decided to finish this one just for you. He's been cleaned up, scanners been added and has black stripes now instead.My_Friend_KITT wrote:OMG, a tye-dye KITT!
Add the scanner to that Weeezl, and it's mine!
Man, I used to have the original version of that image on my desktop. I can't wait to see the finished version of KITT, because given what you've done with the tie dye version, it'll be going back on my desktop.weeezl wrote:
I'm glad you like it! I nick named that picture "Hippy-Kitt" lol. The all black one's proving to be more tricky to get right, when I overlayed the black I found that the mask is not as clean as it should be and needs tidying up. Hopefully the final image will be at least as good as the first one.Matthew wrote: Man, I used to have the original version of that image on my desktop. I like the sound of that, do you mean changing the hue to match TOS intro or replacing the sky altogether?Matthew wrote:Matt,
I've had a thought regarding the green and turquoise elements in the sky. What do you think about replacing them with an old school purple and orange effect?
Matt
Yeah, I'm just thinking about the hue of the existing sky, cause it's style really suits the overall design of the initial image.weeezl wrote:I like the sound of that, do you mean changing the hue to match TOS intro or replacing the sky altogether?
How about telling everyone where you actually got it from? It's also available here along with a few others:ozikool wrote:My one ?

Yeah, that's kinda what I had in mind. I'd probably leave the bulk of the sky dark blue though, and change the color of the effects within the sky rather than the whole sky to try and give it the vibe from the credits of Knight of the Phoenix before the overwhelmingly purple hue was added.weeezl wrote:Ok I get ya, I'll show you a little preview, make sure Im on the right track.
Kitt test, small on purpose, hes in bad shape right now
