I like the nano tech. I do think they aught to stick to simpler transformations, attack mode is fine. I don't think the truck is really necessary. When it come to the off road transformation I think it was a matter of the fact that a truck is in reality better suited for it. So in trying to make things more realistic they goofed because the transformation looks so awkward. However, it may be more tied to the nano tech than we are giving it credit. If nanites can change the shape of objects they could morph KITT into a truck. But I don't think it would require the same movement of pieces they have it doing now and maybe they can make that look better in the future. Should they improve the transformation, while I believe it unnecessary, I could live with the reminder of the Attack Beast. lol

Yeah I like the viper morphs better then the KR ones. KR seems too Transformers to me.

I do like the first KR morph though (from the pilot) I still think a combination would probably work best.

I felt inclined to vote for a mixture of both. I thought that the nanoshift in the pilot felt more 'nano-y'. The series looks like entire body panels are rearranging (which they are), but it's blocky-er.

One of the only aspects I do not like about the mechanical shift....is that opening up KITT's structure at *any* speed (not just in mid-air) would turn him into a monstrous air dam and he would lose a massive amount of velocity.

The nanoshift could 'consume' the side mirrors, for example and further reduce the aerodynamic profile of the car.

The nano to me, was far better smoother and better. I just can't fathom the truck mode. I think that is just going too overboard for my tastes.
