Knight Racer, did you ask Knightfan about permission to modificate his kitt model?

If you have perission, can you upload your car model with modifications elsewhere to download it?

Will you do the same with KARR?

I appreciate what you did to help me with the semi.

I did not ask for permission to modify anything because I tried to talk to him a long time ago.He either chose to ignore me or didn't get the email.

I also didnt ask for permission to modify because I'm not putting it up for public download yet.I might though.Maybe you can ask him for me since he knows you.I wish I could contact him directly because I have a ton of ideas which only he could work on including a 2002 firebird with season 4 dash, t-tops,strobe scanner light, ect.I have a working firebird 2002 but no shine and messed up color system.

I was planning on releasing all of the modifacations to the game vice city but in order to do that I will need replies for permission from about 10 people I think.Theres alot to modify to make a true world of the Knight Rider.I have already done so.You did an excellent job with your mod by the way.I loved the menu,the video clip intro.The destruction of the original vice city menu to get to the new one.Great work.

I might release it soon if I have time to.

i just installed your MOD for Vice city... and for most parts it works well.
unfortunately KITT and KARR don't work... when i hit 'c' or the 'tab' key, i hear the scanner sound, but the car does not appear...

I had the same problems as I posted in this thread.You have to save your game files in my documents GTA vice city user files copy it somewhere for backup purposes.then uninstall you vice city game.reinstall it then reinstall the mod from the rar file.you should be fine from there.You must start a new game.

I got a reply from him and he said no.However we cam to an understanding.I will link to his site downlaod page to downlaod the car.They can download my skin from somewhere else.Me and a few members are working on a kitt for vice city.They however did receive authorazation from him to use the dash.So we will use it since permission was given.

Ok that sounds good. Tell me when modifications will be ended, i want to try them!!

They are almost ready.sadly what I tried on other kitts have failed as far as the scanner goes.Usualy in a gta car the scanner is doubled right from the center to match right and left side to make a fully list scanner.With this one its different.I was able to make a 1 sided scanner sweep but its dark because of the hood overhanging the scanner.Can you host this file for me?

I am working on the semi.I accidentaly didn't realize the background for the knight chess simbol on the semi is a different black compared to the semi trailer black.I will easily repair that.The files might be ready by tom night if someone can host them for me.

I am currently working on a season 4 dash and license plate.For obvious reasons it will not be completely accurate because the dash is different from season 1 and 2.I don't have any 3d modeling skills.If I did e would have the perfect season 4 dash.The areas that need to be worked on are the button modes area under the monitors need to be taken off.I might make it the area for the printer and card id maker.The button pods for turbo need to be much bigger and wider.I will do my best I wish I can be as accurate as possible.I have an eye for detail and accuracy so I have to apolagize in advance for the lack in nearly complete lack of accuracy.I will package it for everyone but I can release season 1 and 2 soon, or together with the season 4.If a 3d modeler has any skills that they can use with me,or if Knightfan40, if you are reading this maybe you could help the board out and team with me on this dash project.

Just a little teaser for the season 4 dash now complete.Finishing some leftover pieces and parts gettign ready for the nice skins I'm about to release.Improved since season 2 dash is the entire season 4 dash,new engine graphic merged with season 2 engine graphic,new license for season 4 kitt.I know I'm flying a little too close to the sun here but I'm sorry for the tripple post in a row Neil.

I just thought of something.If you know how to replace cars,You can replace the ones in the car dealership to have 1 for season 1 kitt the other for season 4 kitt.I'm sure the seller will charge more for season4 for spm mode and convertible top lol.

I can't take all the credit for the work.In fact I shouldn't take any.A man by the name of Knightfan40 created the car.All I did was change the dash pictures here and there.He made an awesome season 1-2 dash.I will lead you all to gis site.You can download his and If you want to, you can try mine.I'm making a season 2 and a season 4.I hope you like.It might be available for download by tommorow.I'm working on the semi.That might prove to be difficult.

I'm also done with the need for speed cars.I helped Karr_Knight with the dashboards and license plates.Those can be found in the need for speed thread.

try in http://www.filefront.com, is so easy to use, just register and upload the files via ftp, i uploaded there the mod using the ftp program they offer to you

i Tried your skins. The Karr one is imcomplete, you must leave it the wahite paint of the exterior.

The kitt interiors are nice, just leave everyone the one that likes much.I prefer the 4 season one!

Well I never liked the look of karr with the grey.He looked better all black in my opinion.

I like the bodywork that knightfan40 did.I could have used help for the season 3 improvements.I however did not like thegrey karr he made.It looked like one bad paintjob.
