Well, first and foremost...does your laptop have a DVD drive? If yes, then you will need the necessary software/driver for it. If your laptop doesn't have a DVD drive, you're out of luck.

Try downloading a program called VideoLan from http://www.videolan.org . As long as you have a DVD drive, it should be able to play your DVD.

I use WinDVD6 and everything is OK. You can download it at http://www.intervideo.com but is a trial, so you'll need something to activate it.

i use a program called "hero DVD player". you can download it off trhe net if you search around. it has a ton of great features with the ability to snap stills of the movies you play as my favorite one.

thanks guys, i actually found a demo on a cd of power dvd, i installed that
and funny enough windows media player played the dvds,
has any one bought the codec from the windows site? $19.00 US
worth doing?

also i think they did a top job on the bonus stuff, my only grip is why
is piolot ep on disk 7 and not disk one? doesnt make any sense to me
but loving it anyway, only prob i have is sometimes the dvd will go back to
the menu for no reason
other than that Im loving it..

cant wait till season 2, now i gotta get the dukes of hazzard, Ateam
Quantum leap, Magnum Pi on my list....

ps for those aussies, u can get it at http://www.hmv.com.au for $80
or k-mart for $69.000
