Lucky 13. :) Hey, if you are going to be in my area, I'd love to see KARR! And visit with you and your girlfriend for awhile. PM me if you folks ever decide to come up this way. I can't travel very far (not even a mile somethimes) due to my health so I miss out on seeing KITT (and KARR). It'd be a dream come true to see KARR! I've always loved him! :) I'd show you my KITT, KARR and KIFT model kits I did too. :)

For some reason, I picture you as Mandy sitting in the passenger seat. :) As long as KARR behaves himself - don't let him lock you in! LOL!

LOL! They'd have to as they'd have to at least tolerate each other more. I too always dreamed of owning a T/A. One time I almost bought a 4-cyl. hard top to convert into a KARR but it was out of my budget. Kinda sad. Now days, I'm glad to just afford keeping my "Suse" going. She's in great shape though so I'm glad of that. Got her last year (she'll be 1 year here on May 8th). It's funny, I used to have a Pontiac 6000, and the original KITT was a Pontiac. Then the new KR came on and KITT is a Ford. Well, I didn't know what kind of car I was going to get, but my friend's husband's co-worker's wife was selling a car and I needed to replace the Pontiac very soon at the time. So that's how I got Suse. She's a Ford! :) A '99 Taurus SE. So now I have a Ford and KITT's a Ford! Keeping up with KR still! :)

I finally found you, Craig!

I've been trying to track you down since we met at the KR Festival. I was the one that was asking you about your Lambo doors, don't know if you remember me and my wife or not. Being able to sit in your KARR was awesome - the highlight of the trip to be truthful. I'd never been in a KITT or KARR before, so needless to say it was very cool.

Anyhow, since seeing your car I've decided to put the Lambo doors on my car too. Can you give me some more info on what kind of hinges you bought, what strength of shocks, etc? I know you said you just welded them on with no modification to the panels or anything, but I wanted to get more details before I bought the hinges.

Take care and I hope to hear from you soon!

Jeff
