I don't know. You tell me! :D
Michael: Kitt what matters to me is who you are not what you look like. Sure we don't have the car so we can't turbo boost so we can't go over 200 miles an hour but it was all icing on the cake anyway

Atleast its got the right colour interior, not sure why they painted tail lamps though. (same as Corgi did). Its has a black out panel, tail lamps shouldn't be red.

here are a few pics of my 1/64 kitt and karr.... enjoy ;)
this kitt made by kenner features a detailed dash but the rest of the car is proportionally challenged. Image

here is a pic of the charawheels kitt & karr next to the ertl and kenner versions of kitt Image

side view Image

front view of the charawheels versions. kitt's scanner is a transparent red and doesn't show up in the pics very well. for some reason they painted karr's scanner on. they both have transparent red tail lights. Image

Yeah them Hot Wheels models are excellent, not sure why KARR has given a black interior & painted scanner a dis-appointment.

i plan to pry apart each of the cars to detail the interior of each. the charawheels kitt needs a black dash, the charawheels karr needs camel interior and the kenner kitt needs camel interior. after i open up the kenner version, i will post more pics so you can see it better. it isn't as detailed as it may look in the pic but it is at least an attempt.

the ertl kitt is just a plain dud. i don't know how else to word it. there is no scoop on the hood, no scanner and the car was casted with a camaro rear spoiler. this is a major oversight by ertl because they used this casting for their plain firebirds as well. the only thing that identifies it as kitt is a knight rider sticker on the rear quarter panel and it is black with black wheels.

@andy - kitt Can you show me the Kenner Car in new style?

I dont Understand the Making of that Firms like Matchbox and Ertl, wy does the make this? Ertl has another Version of a Trans Am that looks much more like KITT and has T-Tops to, wy do they use that car, matchbox too, thats not good. I dont understand the Matchbox Knight Rider, the is not make in the 80s but in the late 90s, better work is here not like in the 80s.

Matchbox already had this casting so they just painted it up to make the star car series, its not ment to be a exact replica, just a way of cashing in on TV cars.

Sorry this site doesn't let you upload images so don't know how its done.

I got the hotwheels KITT and KARR but they both remind me of the season 4 KITT because their bodies look molded from that season.

Yup.. The later versions of the KITT charawheels had painted scanners after KARR was released.. But if you bought it before KARR was released, it would have an unpainted scanner.. Mine is unpainted..

In my opinion, i prefer it to be unpainted.. Luckily I bought it earlier..
