Ertl and Aroshima recently (late 2004) released a 1/18 scale diecast of both K.I.T.T. and K.A.R.R.. Each model featured removable t-tops, opening doors, hood and trunk. Functioning grappling hook, right ejection seat and LED scanner.

From the FAQ: Ertl makes both KITT and Knight 4000 models. I bought both the Knight 4000 model from a hobby shop a few years ago and the KITT metal die-cast model from a hobby catalog. Just for your information, the metal die-cast model of KITT, made by ERTL in 1983, is actually a model of a black Trans-am with a little red “scanner” sticker on the front (no customized front nose, dash, etc). If anyone has more information, please let me know!
