Just a reminder there's a 30th Anniversary Celebration event at Universal Studios Hollywood THIS, Saturday August 25th. Organized by the Knights of the Southwest, fans are gathering to spend some time in the theme park, then meeting up some celebrity VIPs from the show for Q&A, autographs, dinner and more. When Knight Rider news falls through the cracks, our weekly(ish) KITT Bytes sweeps them up:

• David Hasselhoff is interviewed, talks about his replica and gives a shout out to KnightCon, Knight Rider Festival and replica owners!
• Deanna Russo has landed a new role on the Syfy series Being Human and is currently filming episodes that will air in 2013 - Congrats Deanna!
• Southern Knights Atlanta was held last weekend and was a great success, check out their facebook page or our forum for some pictures and videos from the event. Ed Crick, Ron Martinez, Rebecca Holden and Michael Scheffe were in attendance. Congrats to Mark!
• Be sure to check out Catherine Hickland as she preforms her awesome comedy hypnotist show at the Indiana State Fair on August 15-17.
• Glen Laron's lawsuit against Universal Judge survives the first hurdle as the rejected Universal's attempt to toss his key claims at the initial stage. The suit first filled in 2011 argues that Universal has unfairly compensated Larson productions on residuals from his successful shows including Knight Rider.

The premier event for Knight Rider fans in Europe makes a return for it's fifth anniversary on September 1st. KnightCon UK repeatedly has been a respected and world class event. Rob and Steve work really hard to make sure all fans have a great time, and in previous years have had the great success of reuniting many of the original cast, including Rebecca Holden, Peter Parros and David Hasselhoff. Other past guests have included Michael Scheffe and Catherine Hickland - as well as an amazing reproduction of the interior Semi set from the series and countless replicas.

Details for this years event are still being firmed up, but have so far confirmed the return of Peter Parros, Michael Scheffe and Rebecca Holden. The event is FREE to the public! There are however a limited number of VIP passes available for £30 which gets you into an exclusive party the night before.
