If you checked out Master Key Films' demo reel the other day you may have heard a familiar voice saying "This is Master Key Films". To the keen ear you could tell that it was none other than Peter Cullen, voice of KARR in the original series as well as the voice of Optimus Prime in Transformers. We didn't know then if this was hinting to him reprising KARR as well.

The news became official today as NBC released a synopsis of episode 12, Knight to King's Pawn - the episode where KARR is set to reappear. The synopsis contains spoilers, so it's available after the jump.

TIME TO FIGHT BACK--Sarah (Deanna Russo) is not coping well with her father's death and decides to leave town. Concerned, Mike (Justin Bruening) goes looking for her and in return gets the answers he has been searching for about his past. Meanwhile, the NSA has decided to dismantle the SSC now that Dr. Graiman (Bruce Davison) is dead and they can then move forward with KITT's nemesis KARR. With Torres' (Yancey Arias) permission they take out KITT's (voiced by Val Kilmer) chip that contains his personality and memories and place it in KARR (voiced by Peter Cullen). Upset by what has happened, Mike, Sarah, Billy (Paul Campbell) and Zoe (Smith Cho) devise a plan to find where KITT has been taken and get him up and running and destroy the evil KARR once and for all.
