Poor KITT. Poor Niels-Peter and George. They travelled all the way to LA from Vienna via San Francisco. Got pulled over twice on the way up from SF. Get all the way to LA, and break down a few blocks from the finish line.
Fortunately a lot of good samaritans helped and they reached their destination. Watch as we talk to them about it, check out the car - and try and see whats wrong with the car.

When we brought you the story of David Hasselhoff and KITT for the Gumball 3000 a few days ago, all we knew then was that it was a car in "his Viennan friends Garage for 17 years"
We were able to track down a little more by way of Peter's Garage the company involved in the restoration and transportation to Gumball 3000:

Sorry to keep posting these, but we are getting pretty excited by this! This video shows David checking out the KITT that he will be driving in the Gumball 3000 tomorrow. KITT looks a bit decked out in gold sponsorship (I see he likes Monster Energy Drinks).
David also tells a nice story about his dad. Also of note is the dash, it looks like a early season dash, but then has a single TV unit, signaling a later season. Perhaps it is true that it's a screen used KITT - cause that dash has seen better days!

Well this is something that is always enjoyable for fans of the original. David Hasselhoff drove KITT around and posted a video on his website HoffSpace. This will be part of the Gumball 3000 we mentioned a couple of days ago.
David had this to say:
So I am off tomorrow to take part in the Gumball Rally.... It is gonna be awesome and you can follow our adventures as we drive up to San Francisco early in the morning, party with all the other Gumballers and then race down, here on HoffSpace. Now, as some of you know, I will be meeting up with an old friend in San Francisco and driving down with him... So make sure you stay tuned....
