Goliath Returns/Knight in Retreat Strange Coincidence

Or maybe this isnt a coincidence....

Ann Turkel appeared in both "Goliath Returns" and "Knight in Retreat", first as Adrianne Margeaux, then as Bianca Morgan. What's odd is that Garthe and Adrianne's mansion in "Goliath Returns" is the SAME mansion used as Bianca's mansion in "Knight in Retreat". Perhaps there's more to "Bianca" than Michael realizes....

I think it was just a case of re-using an actor and a location.

Otherwise Michael would have recognised her - remember how in GR she wanted to sleep with him? Don't think he would have forgotten her! Or even in Soul Survivor, how she wanted the Knight 2000 and ripped out KITT!

I saw this too....and wondered why she would appear in two episodes as a different person.

It's one of those mysteries of knight rider we'll never know.

A lot of creators and producers (Glen Larsen and Bellarsario especially) have tendancies of re-using guest stars in different roles.

I really wish they wouldn't! Then that stretches the imagination to make us believe "Hey, that's so-in-so! Why the hell doesn't he recognize her?! She tried to kill you!!!!!!"

Yeah that has happend a lot in KR. I can understand her coming back from Soul Survivor to be in Goliath Returns but I never understood why she was Bianca in Knight in Retreat. If she was going to be a different charactor then why not color her hair or do something different to it just to make her look just a bit different.

I wasn't so much focused on Ann Turkel being in both episodes as I was the strange coincidence that both of her characters, Adrianne Margeaux and Bianca Morgan, lived in the SAME mansion!!!

Then there's this part of one policeman in "The Final Verdict" who doubts Michael's intentions, then comes back in "Knight by a nose" as a villain. There's the evil Camaron Zachary, who returns as a mere art collector in "Voo Doo Knight". The most disappointing re-use of actors was in "Knight of the Juggernaut", where all the characters were played by re-used actors (bar a few) and it looked so re-used.

These are some re-used sets that I can remember:
  1. The resort in "Knight In Retreat" was used in "Knights Of A Thousand Devils".
  2. The dam in "Knightmares" was used in "Redemption Of A Champion".
Can you name any more?

One other thing to add to the confusion :P in one eppisode Adrianne Margeaux is credited in the beginning as Adrianne St.Claire or something like that... Weird huh?

Now, I'm watching Soul Survivor, and Devon just mentioned- "We don't know if it's her real name". Maybe her real name is Adrianne St. Clair, or even Bianca Morgan. How Devon recognises her in "Goliath Returns" is a mystery.

Devon had seen Adrianne in "Soul Survivor" -- the composite image that K.I.T.T. drew of her from Michael's description. Michael might also have shown him the photograph of her with Randy. I'm sure he got to see her first-hand during the criminal proceedings against her. So, it's not out of the ordinary that he recognised her when they met in "Goliath Returns".

I love all the episodes with Ann Turkel in, I think she makes a great Villianess.

Yeah, it would have been better if the characters kept the same names as Adrianne did, they could've all just had good laywers or broke out of jail or something. It wouldn't have always worked, but they could've done that on many occasions...

I always wish at least Boyd LaSalle in KNIGHT IN DISGRACE was still Boyd LaSalle in KNIGHT OF THE JUGGERNAUT, all he had to do was move to Chicago...
