I hope it's really not 50 bucks!! I got season 2 at wal-mart for 33 bucks, that is a great price, but 50, season 1 was 50 and it was worth it cause of all the extras, oh well.

Now all we need are two more things. The Knight Rider Movie and think we can cause enough stir to get Team Knight Rider released on DVD.

well, you know, The A team still has a season to go, and Magnum has several- if Universal wanted to release several sets at a time, TKR isn't a bad "fill in" choice..(Unless Airwolf is going to fill that void, or Streethawk, or something..)

They ought to release short lived shows. TKR had one season Streethawk had half a season. They could put them out together on the same set.

I don't know. I mean that is awfully close together between these two seasons after spanning them apart one year at a time. From this link:
http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/releaselist.cfm?ShowID=2619
Season 4 isn't even listed.

Ok, so I checked Universal's home DVD site and they do have KR Season 4 for pre-order for around $37 and change. Just 3 discs on it though.

That I guess means no extras.
Their release/ship date is Sunday April 2, 2006. Good thing it didn't say April 1, 2006!

When I read that Season 3 was gonna include 1 Season 4 episode as a bonus...that had me concerned.
I am very glad to see that the series will be complete. Still...three months apart seems extremely quick...for Universal.

Yeah, and why put an episode from Season 4 as an "extra" in Season 3 if Season 4 will be released a couple months later anyway? Doesn't make sense.

Hi everyone!
It is wonderful to hear that Season 3 and 4 will be released soon. I look forward to hearing the release dates in the UK (Region 2). It is rumoured that Season 3 will be released on 6th March, but still nothing has been said about Season 4. Anyway, I cannot wait to get my favourite episodes: 'KITT vs KARR' and 'The Scent of Roses' in a DVD!!!
Regards,
Sofoklis

Nothing Universal does makes sense, lol. Anyway, I'm glad they're finally going to wrap up the series on DVD, though once again I'm disappointed with the half-hearted artwork.

I thought the season 3/4 artwork that we're currently seeing was early and unofficial. (Granted, I don't have much hope in it looking too much different.)

Knight Rider - Info about Season 4 Specs & Extras. Well, Extra. And A Repeat Extra At That.
Posted by David Lambert
A week or so ago we first told you about the April 4th release date of Knight Rider - Season 4 (the final season). At the time we told you that "We're still waiting on detailed specs, extras and box art, so stay tuned." The box art showed up really quickly, and now Universal has given us the rest as well.
First and foremost, the only extra that will seemingly be found on this set is "The Great 80's TV Flashback" featurette that Universal is apparently putting on all of it's upcoming sets of shows from the '80s: it has been mentioned for inclusion on the February releases of Gimme A Break and Charles In Charge, for the March releases of Murder, She Wrote - Season 3 and Quantum Leap - Season 4, and is also mentioned as being in The A-Team - Season 4 release in April that ships along with Knight Rider - Season 4. While we haven't seen this 30-minute featurette yet, we're at the point of believing that this is primarily an advertisement for other shows from the '80s that Universal is putting on DVD. That's just an opinion/predication, though. We would like to believe that, whatever it is, it will be different (at least a little bit) on each of these sets that include the supplement. We've seen nothing from the studio to indicate that this is the case, though.
Video will once more be the original 1.33:1 full frame, and audio is English mono. English and Spanish subtitles are also there. Running time is approximately 1170 minutes. You can pre-order this from Amazon.com for just $34.99 discounted price.

Not sure if this has been posted yet, but here goes:
TVShowsonDVD.com just posted screen shots of 2 of the menus. On the extras menu, it lists "K.I.T.T. Blueprints". I wonder what that's going to be?
