Did any of you watch Robot Chicken on Cartoon Network last night? There was a part with KITT and Michael Knight.

Wow, no. I thought there might be when I read the series description cause Seth Green the creator mentioned having Battlestar Galactica as one of the episodes. Will have to keep an eye out for that!

edit: found a friend that taped it, hes gonna take a clip for us. should have it in a few hours if no one else does first.

I did. It was kinda funny when KITT said "Michael, you know I can only Turbo Boost once per episode."

Haha! I thought I'd be the only person that would have seen that. It was kinda funny but I didn't exactly like them blowing up K.I.T.T, but that's what you expect on that show. I wonder if they used the Kenner K.I.T.T for that?

Well they used the Kenner KITT for part of it, it doesn't look like they used it for the explosion thankfully.

Here is the first part of the sequence, the rest of the sequence shows the other cars being destroyed basically, so I've only included the part with Michael and KITT. Not for the sensitive at heart:

Ha! That is some good stuff!
If you look at the KITT voice box closely the lower right count-down indicator appears to say "poop" ! Gotta love simple humor.

KITT: "Michael, I am only allowed to use the Turb Boost once per episode!"

Michael: "Well i'm going to use it"

Robot Chicken is this 15 minute show that was created by Seth Green and some other guys. Basically what they do is parodies of TV shows with animated toys. I just recently discovered this show a few weeks ago and find it hilarious, but like my profile says I am easily amused.

I was thouroughly shocked when I saw K.I.T.T. and Micheal on Robot Chicken, but at the same time, I was very pleased! Not thrilled about the crash, but happy to see any form of Knight Rider on TV again!

I didn't like the idea of KITT crashing either. Now if that were KARR or Goliath, that would have been hilarious.

Ohhhh... so it's kinda like MAD TV if you ever watched the show before... easily amused eh? They should have aired the KR Comedy hour starring KITT the talking car. he could be quite funny !

Which would have been funnier, KARR smashing into Goliath or Goliath smashing into KARR? it is past my bedtime so everything seems funny right now!

I rewatched it of of a VHS copy i taped the kitt that turbo boosts and hits the wall is a unpainted MPC era KITT model kit right down the all chrome wheels and hubcaps and red taillight lense on the back of the car.

That's something I always wanted to do...
Make Knight Rider movies with toys or models.
I feel so sad I missed it.

For those who may have missed this robot chicken episode, try to watch for encores around wed or thurs nights. I know i'll be looking for a re-run!

What equipment do they use to make these short films, anyway?

I believe it is called "stop motion animation"

They take a picture...move the figures a little bit...then take another picture...move the figures some more...and so on and so on.

Some of the others look to have "BEER", "FLIP", "HUNT", "STOP" and can't tell what the one above "POOP" says......

Yea, its similar animation to the old gumby cartoons.

Yep. Same here, but I would have never noticed all that if you guy didn't have the snap shot of it. I was too busy laughing through the scene.
