The visuals KARR uses are season 3, like when he scans eddie and he turns into the wire mesh with the pacemaker. those type of visuals werent introduced till season 3.

guess it was another magic update, like his license plate and the recorded music! lol

You are confused somewhere... KvK WAS in season 3.

Have you been eating too much cake?

Duh! I think my problem is that I'm NOT eating cake! I need to raise my blood-sugar then I'll think clearly again.

Um, unless maybe the saltwater short-circuited KARR in exactly the right way so that by pure coincidence he wound up with all of KITT's upgrades? Nah...

One nitpicky thing I noticed about KvK was the sound of KITT's doors
changing back to how they sounded throughout season 2 and most
episodes of season 1. Obviously KARR's doors had the old sounds,
but throughout this episode, so too did KITT's doors, temporarily
abandoning the newer door sound introduced at the top of s3.

Was Kitt's vitals scan introduced in a particular episode? I remember it in 'Chariots of Gold', I think. Perhaps both cars had the body graphic from the start, but Kitt only used his later?

Didn't KITT utilise vitals scan in the pilot?
"His vital signs are deteriorating quite rapidly" or something like that.

The scene where Michael is talking to Devon and Bonnie inside the semi about what traces he and KITT found of KARR at the beach. He explains he must keep the pressure on Bonnie says
"if anything happens to KITT"
Michael "I love you too"
He then pulls out of the Semi now if you pause it at the right point you can clearly see when the Semi pass's the camera there is nothing inside of it!!!!
Sorry it took so long to get to the point..just had to set the scene so you know what part im on about lol

you can sometimes see a round steering wheel whenever michael pulls out of the semi, also.

Near the beginning of 'nice indecent little town' when they're all in the semi, after michael says 'cheers' to the gang, the camera view is from the front and a round wheel is clearly visible.

yeah, don't i know it. that has to be the worst directed episode for camera angles! either that or they just didn't notice how many round steering wheels there actually was in the scenes. the director must have been blind!

I dunno about blind.. but in order to do many of the stunts.. it would have been very difficult to use the gull wing.. like ski mode... I have a feeling it was insurance reasons as well.

After the first season they realised, wait a minute, you can see the top of the steering wheel over the dash in stunts, so they came up with the proper stunt wheel, which was a lot smaller and didnt come up over the dash.

Ahhh... ok, that makes sense. Plus the 1st season had to be created from scratch so fast, so we can give them things like that such as using shots of stock T/As in the pilot and some with a red light on the stock nose. :)

Actually, they didn't have to do it that fast, but they did have to do a lot of things by touch and feel throughout. Like any show that is not like anything else, they are entitled to make mistakes in the first season.

Ok, I seem to of caught the nitpick bug here :P Ok, this may have been mentioned before, but did anyone notice the similarities between Kitt's CPU in Soul Survivor, before they made him 'portable', and Karr at the end of Kitt vs. Karr? :P 8)

That's not a nitpick, that is continuity. They were both the CPU's.

I have to make an idle comment, probably already noticed, but did anyone notice how similar the K vs. K Karr, and Kro sounded practically alike, with a few changes?

Maybe Kro was like the incarnation of Karr, back from the dead again :P Maybe Karr did come back, after all  :P

Don't mind me, I get weird in the early morning hours.

On a production level, they obviously didn't have the computer power to pull off the wire frame for Season 1.

But, on a story level, this oversight can easily be reasoned away by thinking of KARR AS ACTUALLY BEING the superior production line model that had innovations like graphics, stronger MicroJammers, internal defenses capable of lethal levels, the three-line vocal display, and such.

In a sense, it's kind of sad to think that the production team who made KARR thought of ideas that Bonnie was unable to...at least from the start.

Wasn't KARR destroyed in the first episode he appeared in? And then somehow magically appeared on the beach totally intact (except for when that surfer dude connected the plugs together - don't do it...no...don't...don't DO IT!!!)...?

I wanted to know if anyone felt that KARR was physically superior to KITT at all? Like a more powerful Turbo Boost for example? Stronger shell? (Ok guess not, since at the end of KITT vs KARR we all know KARR loses)...

Supposedly they explained his non-demise from TDR by saying that the explosion was from a rocket left in his launcher.. IIRC... So with being left alone, he would have been buried in the sand for those 2 years well aware and sceming of a new plan and getting MUCH more ruthless, which explains why he was much more aggressive in KvsK and had a darker more meniacle voice. Physically superior? Maybe a little just because it takes a super villian to make the hero look good when he comes out on top... the stronger shell? Naw.. what is stronger than near invincible? Not much. But I do like how JUP explained it, making KARR the SUPER car giving him everything they could think of.. until they found out what would happen if the computer went bad.. so they tuned down KITT with the things they didn't think he needed. I always wondered how KARR had all the things KITT did after 2 years of KITT being upgraded. But with that reasoning it makes sense. Ok, I've babbled enough.

If I am not mistaken, in the episode K vs. K, KARR turbo boosts into the FLAG mobile semi, correct? Did he not then force Bonnie to repair him? Perhaps even give him some of KITT's nice new upgrades? Especially since the scanning thing was probably just a software upgrade. Of, course I may be incorrect here, if KARR used that particular scanning device BEFORE getting Bonnie to work on him.

No, he didn't force Bonnie to fix him. KARR turbo boosted in, his driver got out, took the laser from Bonnie, and they took off.

My bad, the last time I saw said episode was an incredibly crappy internet copy. My ignorance has been unmasked.
