I know some of you were waiting for my finishing of the restoration of that GIF from http://maxpages.com/files/knghtrdr/dashgif.gif and i have finished it. All you need is Microsoft Powerpoint to view it. If you want just e-mail me at TheKnightRiderForum@yahoo.com, and i'll send you a copy.

Powerpoint? Why Powerpoint? That seems like a pretty random application to do imaging stuff in there. What does it do?

I can see the gif fine... without powerpoint. Am I missing something here? hehe

I think he's done something to it past the gif..? Made additions and such.

Saving a file as a GIF lessens the quality, so i saved it as a bitmap and sequenced it in powerpoint. It looks like the one in the link but it is way better with more deatail, color, and it can be controlled with the controls the powerpoint offers (my gif is automatic, but if you want go back to a scene you can). You really can't call it a GIF since it isn't one, more of an animation, but it look really cool if, espessially i you love the startup sequence. Just e-mail me if you want it.

Yeah I made additions to it it looks a lot better than the original (I added color, detail, and the 3 strip voice display, as well as animations on the TVs). Do you want me to send you guys a copy?

That GIF wasn't the one I made the one on the internet is the original. If you want to see the restoration I made I have to e-mail it to you.

P.S. The anticpated KARR dash is almost complete!

Well the KARR GIF is finished guys! If you want just e-mail me or reply to this thread. My e-mail is TheKnightRiderForum@yahoo.com. The KARR GIF has more action than the KITT one and show KARR attacking KITT with a laser. It looks better that the KITT GIF in my opinion. The powerpoint show will close like on the last one wehn the animation is finished, just tell me when you want the GIF to be delivered and you'll have it right away!
