Instead of the last episode Voo Doo Knight which did not look like KR legary was to end Why couldn't Michael visit everyone he promised to see again. They could have been April, the little girl from Short Notice, and all of Michael's groupies. Tell me what you think :kitt2:

There are a bunch of more episodes where he promised to see all the people he helped. But he never promised to see Garth or KARR again lol.

Well first of all I meant Knight Rider legacy. And for Sith the Petrol cost would have been kept down according to the episode Inside Out K.I.T.T. could run on any fuel as long as you can make combustion. It also states that K.I.T.T. can go 200 miles a gallon.

I remember a show that wound up doing something along the lines of what this thread proposes...it was called MacGyver. (The later seasons, at least.) Made the whole series feel like some sort of 'loose thread puller of the week'...thing.

No. I'll always wish that The Scent of Roses was the true ending to KR. Second strongest episode ever. (IMO. Next to KOTP.) And, a perfect fit for the task, too.

Besides, by season four, we were already beginning to see the return of former persons that Michael had delt with. As in, The Wrong Crowd.

A road trip for Michael would be OK... But if the Foundation had some sort of Open House and all of Michael's Love-of-the-Weeks showed up in one place, THAT could cause him a lot of trouble!

Sounds like the makings for a "light hearted" episode...where nothing all that interesting/important really happens.

Though, episodes that are comprised of 40% recycled scenes make up a far worse thing to view...

I'm having visions of him enlisting everyone's help to try to keep them all apart.

"Kitt, could you, ah, chat with I-forget-her-name here while I, uh, yeah. Just darken your windows, okay, buddy."

you know, when michael says "oh, we'll see each other again" or "i promise to visit you" i think to myself, you know he won't.. and i secretly wanted an episode or two where he actually does visit one of the girlies.

I have never seen SCENT OF ROSES, but I believe if I had (possibly can't cause Sci-Fi is pulling the plug), I'm sure that would make a true final episode. I don't know if they would be able to round up all these people for Michael to see a second time. Maybe the ones that were extremely important could have reappeared in episodes the last year. That's probably what they should have started doing instead of making those crappy things that has the show start to seem silly. I wish the finale had ended with Michael going on a long vacation. Then the following TV movie could have acted like he left and never returned cause he was tired of all the action. I don't like it that he was still with the Foundation four years after we last see him in action with KITT.

if the scent of roses was the last episode, it'd be perfect for a movie to pick up after.. like KR2K.

Funny thing about the action camera. It tends to only view the stuff that contains action and rarely follows the personal story.

Of course Michael did stuff (like seeing old friends) off camera. (Even seasons 5, 6, 7...)

Sci-Fi's pulling the plug????????

Whaddya mean they're pulling the plug? They're gunna cancel KR? Guess thats a good excuse to go buy some blank tapes and record as many eps as we can. Right? If it is indeed going to get canceled that sucks. Why couldn't any of the stations that've aired KR appreciated it? USA, WGN, now Sci-Fi too? But... it BELONGS there!

Yup. Come January SciFi will no longer air KR.

If this means that Knight Rider can return to being aired by independant broadcasting stations, I'm all for it. (Personal reason: I don't have cable TV.)

Somehow, I don't think it will. It will probably be one of those shows that has it's rights claimed by cable TV until the end of time. Not run...just claimed.
