K.I.T.T driving himself in Episode Race For Life secret..

Hey everyone i just thought you guys would like to know that if you watch episode Race For Life in the end when Michael calls K.I.T.T over to the little girl at the hospital if you look at the hole in the seat where the head goes you can see the man who is actually driving him.

Heh, yup. And after you notice it the first time, you'll be picking it up in a whole lot more episodes.

You see him even clearer in Custom KITT. when KITT is shielding michael from the bullets in the warehouse it goes to a closeup of david through the window but the seat is in view aswell and you can see his face through the black cloth piece !

I've never been able to see the guy's face. The dark screen on the seat's head obscures his face so I've never been that lucky.
Unless I am looking at the wrong place.

I've never seen it and I've neer looked for it. Sometimes I've noticed that the front seat extends much further back than usual. But...i dunno, sounds stupid, but the less i see of KITT's secrets, the realer he is

Sometimes you can see the guy's face.
Sometimes you can see the "brown lump" behind the driver's seat (whihc was just a brown cloth used to hide the driver).
Sometimes there's a black panel behind KITT's driver's seat to hide the driver.
A lot of the time, you can see that the stunt steering wheel is round (KITT's is a "gull wing").
Anyway, even if you do spot them it still doesn't take away from the show. From season 3 onward, you can bearly spot these instances (maybe they started using some kind of radio to start/drive the car?).

They just figured out how to edit better after season 3, and how to get camera shots that wouldn't completely reflect the oopsies that plagued the series in seasons 1 & 2.

In the first season ep "Chariots of Gold", when the dude is ordering KITT to attack Michael, you can notice the small round steering wheel and vaguely, some hands through the window turning it. That always caught my eye.

yeah i noticed that too plus in KILLER KITT it's blatantly clear that hands are turning kitt's steering wheel when he reverses after he's smashed michael into the food stand.
