Funny commercial,would have been great if they showed some of the Samsung smarthome features.At the end of the commercial it looks a little like Pratt driving kitt.I know its just a rumor that he might be the next Michael Knight but the resemblance is there.David is using a Samsung Gear smartwatch when he presses the button to close the gate.Its hard to tell but I can tell from the band and watch face.

Nice! I liked it. I wouldn't mind it being a series of commercials...maybe bring Mike Traceur and Sarah Graiman in to drive KITT (2K) or their KITT (3K) with (2K) pouting a bit about the new one. Have David call the other guy "son" for fun.

My SPM KITT and I agree - It's always an honor to work with David. We always have a blast!

He's the Hoff.He probably had his gates covered in MBS.Either that or with Kitt getting older over the years his shell is worn off to the point where its probably not as strong as it used to be.

True but what about Turbo Boost?

I checked the video again for that and I think kitt was too close to the gate to initiate it.At best he could have maybe used pursuit mode and maybe get out in time or maybe ski mode but I doubt samsung wanted to spend the big bucks on cgi to show off kitt's features since they really didn't show off any Samsung Smarthome features.

That was great - although I would have had DH ejecting the 'newer model' into the swimming pool via the ComLink. Could then have had a quick bit of Baywatch cross-over there as he stripped down to his red shorts to dive in and rescue him.

Here's another new KR-related ad I saw on YouTube today, it's for a new Renault van here in the UK/Europe. Some great attention to detail on display!

I agree, it would have been really cool if they did show KITT doing his thing.

That was a hoot to watch. But, it had more to do about Knight Rider then the home system, just like that super bowl ad had to do about National Lampoon's "sequel" Vacation then it dd about the...erm...hotel chain?

Quite literally, I have no idea what this 'smart home' tech is all about from that. So...it turns on a light with a motion detector??? I do believe Radio Shack was selling that tech quite literally since 1980.
