What are your favorite subplots from the original series?

I loved the subplot in season 3's Knight Strike with the old couple in the beaten up car claiming KITT hit them. This well written skit makes me laugh everytime I watch it!

Another one that makes me laugh is also from 3rd season episode Custom Made Killer where the photographer and the model are using KITT for the photos. KITT is giving exposure values, coughs and finally makes a biig mistake by telling the girl her weight
Michael's reaction is priceless when he returns to KITT and people complain what his car has done while he was away

Anytime someone tries to break into kitt like the pilot,the bikers in merchants of death,custom kitt,etc.I also liked the kid who learned science and history from kitt in knightlines.The racetrack gambler in knight by a nose who kept asking kitt for tips and kitt answers "Lets just say I have a hot system".The car salesman he turned honest in good knights work.

Kind of like how Kitt acts when the crossing guard takes a seat on his hood? (Granted, it's just to prove that he's turning evil in the episode Killer K.I.T.T.)

Oh, wait. I just remembered that news bit about how a Wii fitness game made a girl cry by being too honest. Truly cruel.

Another great deadly knightshade subplot was when he mislead the blonde woman into thinking he was interested in her then described Domino from TKR to a tee.
