Hi folks!

It’s been a long, long road… but the Knight Rider Archives are finally back online.

I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve been asked by fans of the series, “When is the site coming back?” Well, here it is. What began as a simple redesign became something much bigger: a huge redesign, a move to a new server and host, and a new domain. It’s going to be bigger and better than ever.

The new site is also much more interactive than the original. In addition to leaving comments here on the news and blog posts, you can also contribute a rating to your favourite (or least-favourite) episodes, and there will be facilities for user-submitted reviews later on.

I’ll still be maintaining the lion’s share of the website, updating new content, fact-checking, interviewing and answering questions; Knight Rider has been a passion of mine since it first aired, and that shows no sign of diminishing. But this time round I won’t be alone; I will introduce the team as they come on board, as the site finds its feet.

There are still plenty of pages to be added before the site returns to its former glory (not to mention the sub-sections devoted to all the spin-offs) but rest assured they are on their way. It’s been a lot of fun rediscovering a lot of hidden gems in the series (and the site!), and I hope every visitor enjoys the Archives’ content half as much as I’ve enjoyed collating it.

I remember watching so many video clips from kr when i never had the show on tape yet.I also remember liking those episode scripts you had up.

what about the rest of the website?

The graphics are truely fantastic as well as your in depth episode guides complete with scripts! And I love the voting feature! Also, the comic strips section is brilliant! That is such a good idea!

As I said already at KRUK, really happy to see your website back online It was big loss for Knight Rider fans when your website went offline, now it's back again with all that amazing content and even more. Welcome back

It's taking a long time to convert all the pages to the new format (what's currently online is barely 5% of the site), so I'm going to be updating new material each week. Look out this weekend for the first part of the Season Two episode guide!

Thanks, I'm glad you like it! I'm glad to see people using the voting feature on the episodes, it's fun to see different opinions and it makes the site more interactive at the same time. If you're unfamiliar with the site from the first time around keep checking back - there'll be lots of surprises....

Hi Clare,

There are no user accounts on the website, as there's no forum. Commenting is available in the news section, though.

Wow, is the first word I thought when I visited the site.

I've been patiently waiting for ages for the site to come back, and it was worth the wait.

Althrough I quite liked the old design, i hated the frames, so Im glad they have gone.

Coming from a fellow web designer, it is refreshing to see a well thought out design and look. It looks great, which is half the battle won already.

The pages themselves work well too, with easy to navigate content and easy to read text.

Loving the new nitpick section! and if it isn't new, well there's a lot of research gone into it.

The only "fault" I have seen so far is the various screenshots of the episodes underneath the episode titles in the season guide are stretched, they need to be a bit wider.

Do you like to partner with other websites? I might be interested!

Good work man, hopefully the rest of the content will come in due time.
