Dreamworks has a new animated racing movie "Turbo" coming out, and for the Chicago Auto Show Chevrolet built up a custom Camaro that looks a lot like the Knight 3000's attack mode. Or is it just me?

Definitely looks like the series attack mode and is just as ugly.

Well, that's certainly what we'd have got if NBC/Universal had picked Camaro, not Mustang, to be the K3000,
and/or of course if the series main sponsor had been Chevrolet/GM, rather than the Ford Motor Company.

I think, however, I like that blower better than triple tube thing that the K3000 had. It looked like a metallic dirt dauber's nest. But I do agree, that's ugly. The original KITT just had a look that is unmatched. Like Mark Taylor said in "Knights of the Fast Lane," "It has nice lines..."
