I live in a small town in Kentucky. Just South of Louisville. Every year in Febuary They have the Carl Casper's Custom Auto Show.
This year they claim to have the #1 Kitt used in the original show. Also the Knight 3000 from the 2008 show.
It says they are owned by Carl Casper.
Can anyone confirm this KITT is an original? I thought ther were no more k2000's for the show left.
The web site is http://www.carlcasperautoshows.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Yes, that's the car. It's one of 4 cars that Mr. Casper bought after the series. The other 3 were since sold. This was the hero car in season 1 and 2, then modified in season 3 and 4 to be the right hand blind driver car.
Oh was forgettin', this is one of the original cars used in the Pilot aswell, so one of the 1st Kitts ever.
Hope It helps.

Tony

That car resides in Auburn, Indiana, I believe. If you do get a chance too see an original screen used car, take it. I was able to get close to the convertible a few weeks ago in Florida, and I was speechless.

I will get the chance. Thanks for the information.
The auto show here, Has been going on for 50 years. As a younger man & got to see & photograph a KITT at this show. May have been the same car. I was 12 when Knight Rider aired in '82. I have had a passion for it ever since.
I hope some day to build my own. I think the guys on this site are awsome & I enjoy seeing the cars you all build.
The ideas are great!
Thanks! :dash:

They would not let you get vey close. I still loved the view.
