My wife, Katherine, was doing some research earlier today as part of a new sci-fi exhibit she's helping develop while interning at the EMP museum here in Seattle, and she discovered that Knight Rider wasn't KITT's first foray into crime fighting! Well, actually, it was William Daniels who starred as none other than Captain Nice! This was apparently a very short lived series that ran in the early to mid part of 1967 and featured Daniels as an extremely mild-mannered chemist who comes up with an elixir that gives him superpowers.
