Knight Rider Second Series (2008) cancelled but NBC don't delete KR Page:
http://www.nbc.com/Knight_Rider" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Why ?
If this project completely end when why don't delete NBC Directory??
If Knight Rider return to 2012 Second series;
I wanna play again David Hasselhoff and Patricia Mcperson this series
My cast:Justin Bruening,Deanna Russo,Bruce Davison,David Hasselhoff,Patricia Mcpherson,Paul Campbell and Sydney Tamiia Poitier maybe Smith Cho (would be serious if her's character Zoe Chae)
You know Bruce Davison's character Dr.Charles Graiman dead but don't show dead scene
Maybe this can fake death ?
If only just Glen A. Larson write this scenario (Season 2)
I think make very good project
Cause Garry Scott Thompson very bad writer (Just for KR)
Because KR 2008 Episode 2
He's just play Fast and Furious Character Han Lue(Sung Kang) and Race ridiculous...
I think KR Series writer only must be Garry Scott Thompson and His team
No need to extra writer..
What're you think this about? Please send..

KR is done unless Hasselhoff is serious about buying the rights to it. Hes said it for years yet nothing comes of it. NBC owns the rights to it for now so they can do whatever it is they want to it....even keeping the show page up.
For now, keep a look out for fan-films on YouTube and other video hosting sites. Some good gems out there.

NBCU are keeping the KR2008 site up mainly for archival purposes I guess. While NBCU do own the TV rights
to Knight Rider, and it seems unlikely that version of Knight Rider is likely to be resumed, when the time
is right, they might give the whole KR franchise another try in the future. From which branch they could
take it from, continue the 2008-09 version or a complete reboot from the top, who knows?
As it stands right now, the only prospect of new KR anytime soon is Glen Larson's stalled movie project.

I think 2008 Pilot Scenario good
but next Series version became increasingly worse
Because absurd dialogs (Zoe between Billy - Pornstar etc..)
and Garry Scott Thompson
Reason:Garry Scott Thompson
Because he's write Fast and Furious scenario
Hang Lee(Sung Kang) <- Fast and Furious Character!
We're see him also Knight Rider 2008 Episode 2
Why Glen A. Larson need to new writer for KR Series?
I don't understand this..
Glen A. Larson Team Very Best (We're see Knight Rider 1982-1986 First Series)

As of knight rider 2008 series says on wiki online that the show is cancelled. Who to blame for it being canned??This is how I feel agree or disagree but NBC in my opinion is to blame because they messed up the original plot by adding the f.b.I.and when they tried to fix it later in the season it was already to late. They also could've kept the Hoff as a Devon miles character and guest apperance from the original flag team and ki2ts whereabouts to help with the ratings. And finally NBC didn't even give the 08 series a chance they could at least continue with a second season on tnt. And I'm saying this because Dallas ratings on tnt was the same as 2008 KR series ratings on NBC. And Dallas was already approved for 2nd season before the first season was finished.

I completely agree with this! But, NBC is sort of known for cancelling shows all the time...sometimes even if they have a fan-base. I still haven't forgotten when NBC cancelled the new "Hunter" re-boot series in 2003 with Fred Dryer and Stepfanie Kramer reprising their roles as Rick Hunter and Dee Dee McCall (and they didn't even air all the filmed episodes)--they didn't give "Hunter" a chance at all!

It would be cool if they'd bring back "Knight Rider" for a 2nd season and "polish" or clean up the things that were not up to par in 2008. But, in all honesty I seriously doubt that'll happen--unless David Haselhoff is part of the 2nd new re-vamp and it's aired on a cable network such as TNT.
I loved the new "Dallas" return on TNT this past summer...it was awesome and very well done!

It was the #1 rated cable series for 2012 and I'm not surprised it was renewed for a 2nd season...which will air sometime in January or February 2013. TNT, or some cable network, needs to pick up "Knight Rider" and truly do something awesome with it!

The Reason KR 08, because it was just awful, the acting was bad, the storyline made no sense, it's just not as good as the original.
