Hi,
In case someone is interested there is a new app in Android Market called Kitt Voicebox & Speedometer that imitates Season 1 voicebox and speedometer. I dunno if im allowed to post links? I made it as i am a big fan of Knight Rider hope its not treated as Spam or marketing.
Cheers to all KITT fans from Poland

I downloaded it a few days ago and its fun.Its very similar to the one they have for Iphones. The only difference is the Iphone one lets you double tap the 3 bar graph area to expand it to full screen without the 8 side lights and it you tap it,it says all the quotes. Also when you switch to pursuit mode it has all 8 buttons say goodnight. If you plan on doing one for season 4 and a karr one I'm buying those too.

I downloaded it an hour ago and it’s really fun. If you plan on doing that you double tap the 3 bar graph area to expand it to full screen, that would be great. I miss the "goodnight" sound, but it's great to have KARR.
It's a little annoying when you press the buttons and it repeats the short sounds twice.
Keep upgrading. I love it!!!

Thanks for your comments, ill look at the issue with playing sounds twice seems like a device specific problem.
I don't know about expanding voice graph with this feature it will be just to similiar to the iphone app i don't want to make a copy - i have another idea its bit complicated but ill try:)

I know one phone that can't wait for an update. Can you make an option to press menu and switch between season 2 and season 4 voice modulator?

I thought it was a smart idea to use the Seasons 1/2 voice modulator so that you can switch back and forth with K.A.R.R. I thought it was a cool touch to add him and both Peter Cullen and Paul Frees's versions. One minor gripe is the edges of the voice modulator's color still slightly shows when K.I.T.T./K.A.R.R. aren't talking.

i could but then it would need more voice samples and they could take too much memory as i have to preload them all.
Though modulator graph seems the same only buttons are different

This has to be without a shadow of a doubt the most entertaining kr android app i have ever used and this is coming from a guy who already has 3 kr soundboards,a kitt scanner app,a knight rider quiz, knight rider live wallpaper, and the original knight rider rom on nes all on my phone.I've been using your app for at least a week now clicking on those soundbytes and enjoying how detailed you made the voice modulator.Great job man.Keep up the great work!

New update looks great. One suggestion though. Can you move the kitt vs karr clip you have on the left side option 2 to the right side this wayy all the trust doesn't rust clips are on one side and all the kitt vs karr are on the other?I know optimus prime is the holy grail of our childhoods for those of us that grew up in the 80's but I think the sound of Paul Freeze sounded much better as Karr.

For the record, my phone is a Samsung i5500 running Android 2.1 and have the sounds problem, but my tablet is a Coby Kyros MID7015A running Android 2.1 too (by the way Android Market says it's not compatible but, it is!!!), and it doesn't play twice the sounds.
**sorry by posting twice, but I can't edit my first post**

Yes i think i can move the clips but maybe its better to have them mixed?:)
As for sounds playing twice issue are they played almost at the same time or one after another? Does it happen to all buttons auto normal and pursuit mode as well?

Hi. Please remove the new intro. It completely eliminates the effect of the application. Maybe a scanner would be ok. The goodbye sound is a nice touch but it's too short. I still love the aplication buy I uninstalled the last update.

The top part of the skitt animation isn't bmatching the height or speed as the bottom part.they should both get there at the same time. Also the speedometer doesn't make a noise as you speed up like the show does or when you slow down.can you click oil press and change it to other modes?

why is the new intro bad? the oil press info will change autoamtically to calibrate, k.i.t.t and othersin next updates

Can you also include the sound for the speedometer to raise and lower? i can't here it in the updates you've put up so far and you've said its there so maybe it can't access the sound files?.
When you said it will go through oil temp and aoil pressure can you make it slightly flicker? very slightly.

Can you make the oil temp/oil pressure flicker a bit like the show had it?
Can you make it so when the speedometer meter rises up it plays the ticking sound to increase speed and decrease speed?
Can you make it so when you swip the screen of the speedometer to the left it shows the right panel for the techometer with all the meter increasing and decreasing?
Then when you swipe o theleft again the next rightmost pnale shows with the other meters decreasing and increasing?
Here's a vid of the meters
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jnHuMfBV ... e=youtu.be" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Also could you make it so the kitt fullscreen animation reaches the top the same time it reaches the bottom.Usually its off by a second reaching the top before it reaches the bottom of the 3 bar graph.

Can you undo the last update where the speedometer goes up and down byt itself.I know I put up those video clip but that was for the other meter panels not the speedometer. Also can you make the oil calibrate/oil temp blue text flicker like the show had it? Also could you add the speedometer speed up and slowdown sounds?

This was the first paid Android App I ever got and I love it!!! But it does Jam up my Droid X lafter I shut it down lol. Using Task killer fixes it. But wondering if anybody with a Droid X has had this issue.
I would like a faster load ani and a on/off switchable Mic.
