Some of the fight scenes use stunt guys and some of the driving scenes are clearly not David. Did he get to do any of his own stunts ??

in the season 1 dvd ,behind the scenes ,David explaines some the stunts he did and one turbo boost that he did and realzied shortly after why the stunt men did the work!...the impact was hard on his body and he admitted that he would never do the jumps ever again!...in some other stunts they used his double for fighting scenes that were quick and fast and used Davids for the close ups!

If you ever get your hands on the knight rider dvd blooper reel ,you will see some outragious stuff there and Davids stunt work and hillerious outtakes!

I read an article about 12 years ago where David explained how he did one stunt with the car not sure if it was a turbo boost but the car ended up upside down and everyone was staring at him.He was ok though.

If I remember correctly, the stunt where DH ended up rolling the car was for "Goliath," in the scene where he and KITT are trying to take out Goliath's front tire. I can't remember where I read that.

He did most of the 180 degree U-turns until he lost control and ran into a pole, I believe.

From what I know he did some of the driving, like the high speed turns and such. He also did one turbo boost, it was in season 3 as far as I know, it was the one where he went through some glass panes that were on the middle of the road... the episode name eludes me at the moment.

DH did a lot of his own stunts in KR.
