this would make a good KITT and KARR since the front end slightly resembles the Trans Am front end.

Techinally BARRICADE was a Saleen S281 not a Mustang. Ford didnt want to be a bad guy up against GM products, but since Saleen made the Camaro Concept for TF1 and 2. Saleen used their sports car based off a mustang as a bad guy.

I don't like the big scoop
remember gm didn't want to be envolved with knight rider and the corvette is a sport car not a muscle car like the old kitt and the stang. When the new show aired the mustang was the logical choice and the only available muscle car at this time
