knight rider online

i seem to recall reading that the knight rider nationals used to be held there but isn't anymore. i don't think i saw any KITT/KARR replicas last year but i was just curious to see if anyone is coming this year. I'll be there with my T/A.

I'll be going. Thanks to some idiots ruining it for everyone, they no longer allow KITT replicas at the Nationals so you wont see any replicas.

hmm. wasn't aware of the banning of the KITT replica's. I seem to recall seeing old T/A nats photos with the "Knight Rider nationals" section with a bunch of KITT replicas but i've only gone once before and that was last year.

Yup at one time that is where the registries held their annual event. But the Nationals has some pretty simple rules, like no peeling/burning out, smoking the tires etc unless its organized and so on. After all the Dayton Airport is nice enough to let them use their facility year after year for YEARS. So why wouldn't you respect the rules? WELL some replica owners just can't follow the rules and ruined it for everyone else. There may be another story to this I don't know but I tried to take my in progress replica last year and this is the story I received. I went without a car and still enjoyed myself very much though its a great fun event.

ah ok. i guess that makes sense. this year its actually at the dayton marriot. The Tipp city cruise is still going on at its normal time/location though. here's some pics of my car from the nationals last year.
