wow, that 2nd pic....now thats what i call BLACK! mind you, could be just the shadow of the bridge making the colour darker but who knows?

but they look good!! even that 2nd pic retains that 'shiny effect' that KITT always had in the series. GREAT.

better than that old blueish-look it had, huh?
It took the artist and me a little while to get it to look like this since there is a problem with a black car: it has no color. The only thing that really remains is a reflection.

Then there is the little problem of lighting the car in shadows and tunnels, to be able to make KITT even darker in the shadow we had to start with a bit of grey. Quite an interesting exercise.

KITT looks great,

Michael on the other hand wasn't so lucky...
those of you who saw the clips would know what I'm talking about (of course, this is just my opinion.)

Devon looks good, Bonnie looks beautiful, but a little diffrent from Patricia Macpherson,
(kind of makes you think about the new movie that's coming out on screens these days, I think It's called "Symone" - about a virtual reality super star and her creator... by now you probably know what I'm talking about)

it looks fantastic. i see your points, jeronimo, about having a black car in darkness. my guess is that is why you don't have any levels in the dark, eh? lol!

but can i just ask, and i'm not whining, just curious, the car seems to be a greyish blue again in the top pic. but is that from a really early version?

yes, it does have a greyish shine on it but I promiss you that this is only because the surrounding is reflecting off the car's body.

You can see this on the top image next to the rear right wheel, just below the specular.

Now Kitt is Kitt, the rear lights are more visible and the black is...(eh)black. I feel much better already!! [img]images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img]

OH yes, i have got to say, i was extremely skeptical about those original pics, but already these new updated pics are proving me wrong.

can i have a link to the new pics and guys the dashboard might be updated too. and the Turbines and the turbo Boost FX so do not worry guys. This game is going to rock. This will keep Knight Rider alive for another 20 years and on. KITT has always been the Superman.

Justin, the new pics, are in the post, they are up above if you wait for them to show up. And there hasn't been anything negative about the game said, we know.

Um...... okay....... everyone needs to go to www.knightrideronline.com/game and view the new in-game screenshots! THIS GAME IS GONNA ROCK! This is the first 3D game I've ever wanted, and I want it BADLY! I am actually drooling! I think this is gonna be my new Favorite game ever!

Got some more images for you today!

Davilex lead artist Marcel du Long, emailed me with some screenshots from the PS2 version! Numbers 1-3 are KITT views, 4 is the interior cam view, 5 is the exterior cam view, and 6 is the cinematic cam view.

Notice in the screen shots the SPM and TURBO BOOST meeters, which when full give you the most punch. The cinematic view is a nice touch as it gives you the look of the TV show when KITT would turbo boost!

WOW, that pic of Kitt in ski mode really shows of the new paint job he's gotten from the old pics.

These new updates have completely changed my outlook on this game.

Wow, those pictures look really cool, but the back of KITT is different than in the series. For instance, the tail lights seem to come out. What I mean is that in the series the tail lights are very hard to see. In the game they are very easy to see.

i guess I'm alone when i say that the switch on the dash loses some accuracy from the show.the other meters were right on target.The rear shots of kitt with all the lights on are a little odd unless he's constantly going in reverse and forward which i highly doubt.But then again if they can maintain the all black paint job...well you know what they say you might have to loose the battle t win the war.I especialy love that shine on kitt.Kitt never was shinier then in the pilot episode of the series.

Neil love the secnd intro you put up any more cinema clips of kitt and karr or just plain gight clip with them would be greatly and i mean greatly appreciated.

I agree with Sonicfreak, KITTs tail lights and reverse lights were only seen when they were actually on due to the dark smoked piece of plastic over the rear light assembly.

So unless KITT is doing a reverse power brake in that very top picture, it is not authentic because you can see a reflection of the inactive lights. Would be perfect for a standard Trans Am, but unfortunately not for KITT.

lol, yeah, this is true but i didn't wanna say anything. they've done a great job so far on improving the game, i just thought it's a bit nitpicky to say such a thing. but yes, this is true.

I posted it ,memememe not whoever the other guy was.I just thought of something ,how "bitchin" will kitt look when in spm mode especialy in those clips?All black spm mode no grey hehehe.
