What Im curious about is the lil bumps below the grill on the front bumper...whats the purpose of those?I know Tao said he wasnt goinga have them in the video?but still whats the point behind them,how do they help the car?

They are Rotatable Flip Front Laserlights.
In the final production attack mode they just said "hey lets make KITT's SCANNER a laser instead!"
And thus they were never used.
However the design elements stayed in the design as the little coned shaped 'laserlights' became larger 'air intake' cones on the hood.

Interesting stuff but I wonder how they hold up under intense stuntwork?
Jay Ohrberg is in serious legal trouble with Warner Bros. I doubt he's going to be building much of anything until he gets things sorted out. As for the concept art of the Attack KITT, I don't understand the point of the front end transformations? The struts make the car look more like an insect, perhaps a beetle of some sort.

So what exactly is the 'hydroblower'? In the series, the 3 scoops are supposed to be air intakes I assume.

Ah well Im glad they stuck with the scanner.

Hey, Taoworm.
When I saw this picture I was immediately reminded of your Attack Mode project.
They are transparent OLEDs, in this case in a rearview mirror.
They are very expensive right now and not on the market, but maybe they are when you have reached later stages and then you can add those to your windshield, might be a little easier than real holographics.

Yeah Tob, the Attack Mode will be voice activated through a 18 channel relay.

It would be possible but why?
The person that did that programmed it in visual basic. But I will have no need for that.
That's more of a TOS thing than the new KI3T.

i know i'm digging up an old post but i was wondering if anyone knows if anyone is planning on doing the fiberglass body kit for the series attack kitt? i'm currently looking for a mustang to do a replica with i sold my first and i'm finishing up my 2nd 82 KITT replica as we speak...so i'm looking for future prospects...any help would be much appreciated

I don't think anyone is doing an Attack Mode to my knowledge.
