does anyone else get RTN? it's been playing knight rider, and at least the local RTN has been playing uncut episodes of the 80's knight rider. most of the episode goes commercial free, and i see things i haven't seen before, or have only seen on the dvds. the picture looks different itself, like they have the original tapes. when they first started playing knight rider, i don't think they were playing the uncut episodes. at least i didn't notice it..

at the tv station i work at, we play a few 80s shows like silver spoons, facts of life, and the like. they all come on beta tapes, so i'm assuming this is how RTN gets knight rider...

I have Optimum Online and therefore have Cablevision's set of channels. What does RTN stand for and does Cablevision provide it? If so, what channel?

Up until a few months ago, RTN was broadcasting poor quality syndicated episodes. Then they switched to better quality uncut episodes. The commercial breaks are extremely short - some normal KR commercial breaks go right back to the episode. Definitely the best way to watch KR aside from the DVDs.

We have it in the Tampa, Fl area as Digital Channel 8.2, it's the local NBC's old Weather+ Station, but now that NBC owns TWC, they didnt need Weather+ anymore....

Sadly, we dont have Knight Rider on our line-up right now.
Sucks.
